It all depends on the project. If the project is medium and little-known, then even after entering the stock exchange it may continue to fall in price. And if the projects have a big advertising and scroll to a large exchange, such as Binance, then they are greatly increasing in price before the listing and buying them already on the stock exchange is not as profitable as during ICO.

Initial coin offerings are the equivalent of startups in the businness world and as such can be subject to a range of risks. For cryptos, the potential rewards can also be astronomical. It is not unusual to see 10x ,20x or more ROI especially in a bull market. As a rule,do not invest more than you can afford to lose and spread your risks.

Buying coins after entering the exchange market is very good because we can find out how far the coin develops. And when you first enter the exchange market, the price of a coin is a dump or remains stable. If the price of a coin stays stable, I think it's very good to buy because I'm sure if the price of the coin will definitely rise.

Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged?
It depends. If the project didn't have airdrop/bounty better to buy on ICO. If the project has bounty and airdrops it's better to buy after exchange because for sure they will going to dump it fast, whatever the price is.

It is fully depends on you. And also depends on what coin you want to invest. Now most of the ico coins were going below from its ico price. And that'd why its sometime better to buy coins after listing.  Or buy during private or  presale. Now a days market is not going so well. So most of the coins lost its price or dumped by investors after immediate listing. So most of the holder wait for the listing and then buy at a low price. But if you want to buy a good ico coins then its hard. You have to put your money in ico time. So this whole thing is depends on the project you want to invest.

coins purchased from ico have greater profit collectivity because of the purchase bonus effect that occurs in several phases offered, but this also cannot be separated from the enormous risk. there is no denying that buying coins in the exchange after the moment of the first phase is safer, the biggest advantage is from the initial investors because their sell orders immediately turn into maximum profits.

Most coins offer huge bonuses during the ICO period so even if the project gets listed below ICO value, the investors can still make some profits out of it. All you need to do is to invest in the right project.

I've never bought a coin on ICO because I know by all means people will dump it and I will get a cheaper price than the ICO price. Also I find it tedious registering on their websites and especially those who add KYC to it.
it is happening only now. A year ago, people received strong growth after the listing of the coin on the exchange. Now people are stupid and sell their coins for pennies
I think that there are still different situations and no need to blame people for stupidity. In any case, due to the active PR of cryptocurrency and the entire business in the cryptocurrency market, many people have given up their real main job to work with cryptocurrency. If we consider that cryptocurrency for many is the only source of income, then they want or not a person, and they have to sell something to pay their bills on a daily basis.

Now, when a huge number of projects after the end of ICO cannot collect enough money for their development, it is definitely worth waiting for the coin to appear on any stock exchange, and only then make a decision about a purchase. If you do it the other way around, big problems are possible.

I think that the best thing to do is carefully and carefully analyze the project if you still want to invest today, although probably a very large number of people still say that today is not the best time to invest in ICO

I see and observe recently that many ICOs are below the ICO price when they touch the exchange. Do you think it's a smart step to wait for an exchange and buy the tokens you want?
When i started in crypto,i started with ICOS way back 2017 ..mostly we bought during ico but then the project turned oit to be scam or failed... Some didnt reached hardcap... I learned lessons from that.. That why, now id rather wait for the project to be list in exchanges before i buy.. Not only this will help me save money but also to avoid being scammed..

In the case of ICO, there is always the possibility that the project will fail or prove to be a scam. However, imagine that each potential investor will wait for the ICO to be listed on the exchange. In this way, none of the projects will reach hardcap. And even the softcap may be out of reach.

I think its depends each one of us, which we are preferred to take risk our investment into crypto. Some others usally direct invest in ICO since they're trust on its platform regarding of the result of their research about it. But,  for me, since I'm not really wise to choose a good ICO I just wait for it to put an exchange to determine as well if they're going put in a better exchanges such binance, kucoin, bittrex which is has a large volume. So that I can easily execute buy and sell in that scenario.

I think its depend from the project, if you sure the project is great and will give benefits for future, invest in ICO is great because we got many bonus also if the price increase when listing we can sell all the bonus and we still got token from ICO. But if you doubtful about the project, buy it in exchanges is more safe

If I were to be followed, I would buy in ICO with bonuses. Why? So that if the project will succeed and be listed on exchange, I can dump all my tokens even with less profit I can get. I don't care what others will say but it's the nature of survival.

I think it's better to get into ICO price because if the project is a good to invest in, after being listed in exchange, it will be bumped. In that case, you will miss the early adoption.

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anneli-elicoin-cpu-mining-only-exchange-available-3028302... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers
