how do we know it's a DIP ?, is a 10% decrease is a DIP ?,
I'm really worried if I go in now and the price keeps going down, is there an answer to this?  Huh

Fun fact: if everyone buys and holds, the price will not make any difference since it will inevitably rise. The problem is that consensus on “never sell” will never be reached so the desired conditions (perpetual price increases) are unattainable. This reminds me of problems from game theory  Smiley

You have no other option. I joke about the whalecumulators, but what else can we plebs do? Buy the dip, and HODL! You do not want to end up empty handed on the next cycle, https://twitter.com/misir_mahmudov/status/1118243131584065537

This is also the way many holders are using to make long-term profits. But I think we have to try to maximize profits so we don't have to lose a lot of hold time. We have EMA, Fibonacci and trendline. Although we are long-term investors, we need to know about TA. It will help us greatly in reducing the amount of money we can lose and have a good time to buy.

yeah, one coin maximize profit, but you should know what you are doing, and that requires a lot of time as well, it is not easy to do TA, and then have nerves and be calm to choose right moment to buy and sell, if that is easy, we all would be millionaires, and we are not, correct me if i am wrong, best way is to HODL, if you do know how to trade, and most of us do not know

How low would the next dip be before the next surge beyond $10,000? One "analyst", that calls himself Cryptorphic in Tradingview, say that Support Level 1 is $8,484, Support Level 2 is $7,772.40, and Support Level 3 is $6,774.30.

Zoom out, YES!

The answer is so positive, I like it. if only people will think that way, then we will see bitcoin pumping already, but we are in the reality now, there's no guarantee that although we think it will rise it will happen, it could dump and we might see a new dip, though we don't like that to see but as bitcoin is being so unpredictable, things like that is normal.

I'm not trying to be "positive", it's simply a FACT. Zoom out, and see. I would only change my opinion if Bitcoin crashes under its 200-week SMA, and stays under the 200-week SMA.
Not only your opinion would be changed but to all perma-bulls out there would really changed up their opinion if that technical aspect that you had mentioned would really broken.

For people who are still questioning bitcoins potential then looking up on the chart on zoomed aspect would really already tell the answer.  Grin same as you said which we cant really stop people
to think up positive.

Of course, the market is volatile on where there would be sell-offs and fomo'ed situation.

I honestly don't know, BUT why worry? Zoom out, and see where Bitcoin's path is taking it. Where it's going, it won't matter if you bought Bitcoin during $3,000, $6,000, or $9,000.
if I have bought it at $ 3000 or $ 6000 maybe I will not ask, because I'm already profit,

Buying the dip is dollar-cost-averaging. You bought Bitcoin when it was $20,000, then average-down your cost by buying Bitcoin $10,000, $6,000, $3,000. You had the opportunity to act.

By looking at the past and remembering that " history repeats" one would definitely say that BTC price will rise. But the assurance is not guaranteed. If you had asked someone in 2016 when the price was just around 700$, he could not assure you at that moment. So don't try to find the answer in others opinion if you have trust on BTC the have some BTC.

What is the dip? Which price is the dip? How can we be sure?
Back in 2018 after the first crash a friend of mine told me that 10k is the dip and we would never see below. He was collecting the dip..

I prefer ladder all the way down, this term makes me feel better.
Buying at dip is not a suitable strategy for all traders that is why it is important that every trader find their edge in order for them to be profitable. Buying at dip is like a swing trade but it is not 100% win rate, backtesting is important and buying a dip without confirmation and prior study is very risky and that is the reason why we should manage our risk very well. Position sizing is also important and we should not just buy because there is a dip that happen.

My non-Bitcoin friends have started to ask me if now, "is it a good time to invest/HODL in Bitcoins". Believe it, or not, I didn't have an answer.

What should I tell them, Bitcointalk? Undecided

Tell them yes, and tell them not to panic if there is a big correction after this.
They are interested to hold so they hold make sure they can hold for a longer period of time and will not panic when the price will dump.

Also, tell them do some research, the reason why most newbie fail is because of their timing, their wrong timing instead, suppose to be this time is the time to sell not to accumulate, but they come it, they like to play the FOMO, and actually that's aright as long as they are ready to hold.

The price crashed. I'm relieved, I didn't say "yes". I told them to "wait for an opportunity".

I believe some essential humor after the current disappointment is vital. Cool

Some of you might feel you didn't buy/don't own enough Bitcoins. I believe everyone owns how much they own for a reason, BUT owning some is better than owning none.

Buy the dip, and HODL.

I failed to buy my Bitcoins during the last week.
I was expecting the price to increase due to the halving event but I didn't think that this is going to happen so instantly.
I thought the price might go a little bit down and then push it back upwards.

Open up a Bitcoin chart in TradingView, switch to weekly from daily, insert an indicator, choose Simple Moving Average. Change its numerical value of SMA to 200.

Buy ALL dips near/below that line, and HODL. Cool

You have to provide decent information, if only provide a way to open a trading view anyone can do,
and think about the line? I think everyone is different too. so make sure where to buy it?

Everyone is different, yes. I'm simply trying to help fellow plebs not to lose more of their Bitcoins to the market. Every satoshi will count, especially when, Bitcoin 6 digits.
