You have no other option. I joke about the whalecumulators, but what else can we plebs do? Buy the dip, and HODL! You do not want to end up empty handed on the next cycle, https://twitter.com/misir_mahmudov/status/1118243131584065537

I do believe when one is able of buying the DIP he should, but besides the DIP one should buy whenever he can like every monthly wage take a % of what you save and buy corn with it instead of all saving it in a dumb bankaccount ....
^
This of-course counts especially for those who have read a bit about BTC and have a believe that its here to stay....

I think it is not yet time to buy and it will go much lower between the range of 8200- 8400 value and as of today 24hr low currently 8600 so it might go down and probably bounced back to $10k and that's a huge profit.

And it would be best to take advantage of the market crisis than cry later and no profit at all.

It was around $5000 when OP mentioned buying bitcoin, but the idea to buy at every dip isn't changed.
There is a probability that bitcoin may drop to $8500, but I doubt it will fall below it.
$10K isn't the target as bitcoin has the potential to go beyond $20K in the next year, so just buy whenever you think it's plausible.

Buying every dip is easy to say, but difficult to identify the dip (for me at least!)

Every time the price of bitcoin drops I am afraid of the point that it is going to stop or it will be ongoing for a long time. Looking at charts and trying to make my TA sometimes prove me wrong!

Yes, I agree with you, it's very easy to say, but it's quite difficult if practiced. for example, right now the price of bitcoin is down from $ 9,000 to $ 8,800 in my opinion this is a good opportunity to buy. but sometimes people are afraid that the value will go down again so they postpone buying hoping the price can drop even lower. but if I will still decide to buy even if the value of bitcoin goes down again I won't regret buying. because I'm sure that in the future bitcoin prices will pump even higher. I just need to wait and be patient until bitcoin is bullish.

This is the most fundamental strategy of staying safe in the world of crypto currencies. You are simply supposed to buy expensive coins like bitcoin when the market is down like it was this year. Why it is important to buy bitcoin specifically in dips? Because in pumps this is the most expensive coin and that is the ideal situation for cashing out profit. Right now market is great for buyers.

wrong. this is only important in "world of bitcoin" and basically any other asset that has a potential for rising or is on the rise. otherwise in "cryptocurrencies" this not true at all. most of them are in long term dumping mode forever with some short term pumps which means when you see a drop you can not call it a "dip" and it won't be worth buying it since after that drop there will be more drops unlike bitcoin where after the drop there is more rise instead.
Traders have different tools to make money and it always surprises me when they choose the wrong tool for the job, buying the dip is without a doubt a strategy that can be used very effectively to make money but this only applies to good assets, I really do not think there are more than ten coins in this market that are worth the risk of buying when they are going down and of all of those bitcoin is probably the only one we all agree is worth the risk.

There will be more days that HODLING Bitcoin will be positive, than there will be days that HODLING will be negative.
I don't think anyone knows for sure which is more appropriate, holding bitcoin with long-term or short-term methods only if world finance really develops digital currencies and uses transparent transaction technology then bitcoin can be a good reference and bitcoin prices will always going up because bitcoin will definitely have lots of requests and lots of uses, while if the future does not use blockchain technology it is certain bitcoin will not be used, so from this explanation I think I already know whether or not to hold bitcoin.
I think if you buy with all the money you have and hold bitcoin at current prices it's a big risk!
Indeed, buying at lower prices is important for traders, but you also have to understand the technique if you want to trade like that,
I have experience when buying it down and bitcoin down again, it is a lesson for me

yes, in my opinion you have given good advice, and I think it's appropriate if we buy bitcoin or altcoin when prices are down. I think that is one of the strategies in seeking profit, but I myself sometimes find it difficult to do it all. every time the price goes down, I sometimes feel afraid that will stop or will continue to fall for a long time. In my opinion buying when the price drops is very easy to say but very difficult when doing it. I myself usually buy when prices fall, and it turns out when I start to hold back, it turns out the price goes down. and from all that I realized that it was not easy.
yes, buying when prices are falling I think it is a good strategy in trading and crypto investments. I'm sure everyone will wait for the moment of price reduction when they want to buy a coin. And I'm sure what they did next was hold the coin and wait until the price would rise again. when prices start to rise, it is certain that they will benefit when they sell the coin. I myself also say if all of that is not easy, but by doing such a strategy, at least we have tried to find the best way to benefit in cryptocurrency.

Buy low, sell high is an over simplification and the reason people fail at it is because they fail to understand basic concepts like this. You're making the assumption that price will reverse and regain lost ground and then go even higher. This is an extremely high risk play. If Bitcoin has been to its all-time high and will never go back up there, then sure, looks like you got screwed. Trading is not about buying low and selling high. It's about risk management. If you want to guarantee profits you short the pops in a down trend and buy the dips in an uptrend.

Actually, if we talk about buying on the dip, many people are wondering if now is the right time to buy it. Maybe this is something that is difficult for people who don't know how to read through the technical analysis and only rely on the news to read the market situation. They often hesitate in terms of buying now or later, and sometimes think whether the current price is the right price to buy it?

There's no right price to buy. As a buy the dipp-er, you use dollar-cost averaging to increase your profit in bull markets, and reduce losses during bear markets.

Indeed, buying every price dip is the way to go because no one knows when the next bull run will start. If you are buying every dip then the next bull will come and meet you fully prepared. As they say, buy and sell high! When you buy bitcoin try to HODL it for some time until when the price gets better and then you'll sell for more profits.

In my opinion, it is not too complicated if you want to hold it for a long time, because we can be sure the price of bitcoin will skyrocket over time with the acceptance of blockchain technology in many countries and begin to be implemented in many sectors.

The number of politicians that truly understand Bitcoin will only increase in my opinion.

This means more regulation that is in favor of us, any action of ban is should not anymore enter in their mind if they will fully understand bitcoin and crypto as a whole. At this early stage as we remain hopeful, we are also putting an investment for our future and let's hope crypto will eventually be mainstream in the long run, especially bitcoin.

If they truly understood, then the answer should be to leave Bitcoin alone in favor of us. To give it 10 more years of peaceful development. No interruptions.

As the market is speculative,

The speculative market is this group of people trying to outguess each other but if Bitcoin was just that it would have been over a long time ago, plenty people just bail when things get tough and maybe thats smart for them but BTC just carries on because its more then this.   We do have a backbone to Bitcoin, a proper real market with actual supply and demand to it and buying the dip could also be based on more fundamental extrapolation of usage growth.
The downside to that is its alot slower then the sharp spikes up and down, we have to let the market settle and thats where I think this market is right now, we're in a slower phase of revision and muted response as we adjust over time not just price.   Still a good thing long term.

Funny I see trolls spreading, "Bitcoin to crash to $2,000" FUD. But when Bitcoin is sitting on 6 digits, trolls will be spreading, "Bitcoin to crash to $20,000" FUD. Pointless. Cool
As the market is speculative, whales and other leading people of try to make good profits out of the same. Based on the market lead will be the price chosen to manipulate spreading FUD. If it was around or less than $10000 the value to be reached seems to be $2000. If there is good growth and reached big market, then the manipulative price reach seems to be more than $10000
