Buying the dips is a great strategy for long term investors. I have been buying the dips for last few months and hoping those will work out fine in coming months.

I want to buy some altcoins due this big dip and strenght my long term position with several coins...

I'm going to strength my position in:

-NEO
-TRX
-EOS

and, perhaps in ETH

What do you think... is there any other altcoin that could be the next surprise after this present dip?

Even though I only know Crypto, but I think ETH is more promising than others because I think ETH is a coin that has great potential compared to others.

After this bear market ends, solid coins will skyrocket. You just need to buy them now and hold. OAX is one of them.

Ethereum had his own value in the cryptocurrency market.
Even some of the altcoins in cryptocurrency market had good potential like Ethereum. Some of them are Ripple,Waves,Litecoin and Monero.
Now the price of all the altcoin is low,use it as a goldern chance to buy the potential altcoins. You will get some profit in your future.

I have a fairly good portfolio with promising coins, I would add Stratis ZIL and Waves. I think these coins themselves will show

nice in this dip. That is the trend reversal of large investors. I believe the holding will be a successful way from now until the end of the year. eth value has come back to its level in November 2017. I believe that is a sign that will bring success this year.

Buying into community favorite coins is always good, not all community but majority of the "investors"
These are the coins that most "people" know
They posses some sort of value imo

So its good to add these into your portfolio

If you want to earn money while not taking a lot of risk, you must refrain from buying in a market like that and do it when it is stable. You can make a big profit.

There's only one problem with this "dip". The bottom may be even lower and the price after the purchase may fall even lower. The price of many altcoins drop down 10 times or more. So it is unclear where is the bottom? Even such a stable coin( I thought that way) as ETH lost in price very much, as to talk about other altcoins. So buy in this market is extremely dangerous, can experienced traders and come out with a profit, but I'm still in the red.
This is why you need to put a strategy to reach the bottom just like you should be divided your amount in a lot of partials and then you can try to minimize the risk to get the bottom price. When you are only putting 1/10 of your amount while the price of coin stuck on 900 satoshis and then if that will go even lower and you can try to put the rest.

ETH had lost so much in its price and right now the value of ETH is at $293.51 USD for now I can see that this dip is a great investment so far because I can say that the price will surely increase some how when the bear market ended, But we can not know when its gonna be over, But all great dip is a cheaper investment and ETH is second to bitcoin that is trusted by investors, I really think it is OK to invest in ETH right now because of its cheaper value.

Why do not you consider some new projects in which there has not been a pump yet? I think that these alts have more potential. Of course, no one knows if this will happen, and this is more risky altcoins, than time-tested alts.

Neo and ETH seem to be good choice from your list. You may want to consider Siacoin and Monero which have potential IMO.

To buy when the market falls is a risky occupation, and if you wish earn an income while not taking much risk, you should refrain from buying in such a market and do it when it stabilizes...

During dips, BTC is where my fund goes mostly. I am doing cost averaging method to average down my investment in crypto. I also include ETH, ETC, XRP, WAGE, WAVES, BUZZ, PRiV, MAG to my portfolio. I believe that coins with master node are profitable due to the rewards being generated.

Definitely ETH. The other three definitely had a lot of hype, which pushed the price too high - not saying they're bad, just that hyped coins can be overpriced.
I would expect ETH to bounce back stronger than the others you've listed, but it can be sensible sometimes to go with more than one coin.
I would say put the largest share in ETH, and then a bit less in each that you think looks good value.

The best call is not to pick the coin that will most likely be the top performer but build a portfoliio of top performers. Different coins shine at different times. The more you are diversified the higher are the chances that you will be able to take profits, cash out or invest in other coins that have not shined yet.

I think buying the dip is rather challenging as you don't know if these teams will collapse following a dip. I think its much wiser to just buy an index fund token which employs a team of people to critically assess the market at all times and with valuable TA experience.. are able to make the best decisions for the token, long term. Pay a small price to have professionals micromanage your exposure, relieve yourself of all the stress.

You really can't go wrong with any coins at this point in my opinion. Especially the ones you listed. I really think that as long as it's an established project with quite a few users, then the price will rebound once the market goes up. Just make sure the devs are still active and you'll end up doing just fine in a few months. Stick to any top 25 or top 50 coins on coinmarketcap and when the market recovers, you'll be glad you did.

Perhaps you're right, all coins in top 50 should go up when price of BTC go up, at least in the past it was like that. But we see that recently this was not a case, most altcoins drop hard despite BTC show some positive moves. It is wise to investigate any coin before investments, some of them will go down for sure one day - but for now they are mostly safe money machines for those who know how to use them.

I could recommend only one coin that interested me and it is very affordable at this moment, I believe that one day price may go up pretty high. Some users know it as RaiBlocks, but it was rebranded to Nano few months ago. More on official site : https://nano.org/en

All the coins that you've mention are really good to buy especially if you are looking for long term period their price right now are really too undervalued because those coins had a solid fundamentals behind them.
