If that's your standard, then the governments should also implement bans on physical gold, prepaid debit cards, and physical money.

It's very difficult to work out such a thing as with banning one tool, you'll also be forced to ban all other tools as well. Otherwise the ban won't have any effect.

Unless it's a hidden motive from the government to just get rid of Bitcoin. That's also something that we should take into consideration.

If you are telling the truth, then you should not post it here. Some countries are having really crazy laws regarding the purchase of illegal drugs. In countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia, you will be beheaded if you are convicted of drug purchase.

I agree. I'm alrerady sick of that Bitcoin is associated with drugs or with other criminal activities in most people's minds. I think we might leave it to mass media, I mean demonizing Bitcoin is what they do best. I think it's better to discuss the other aspects of Bitcoin here on this forum. I'm not saying such topics shouldn't exist at all though. We should have freedom of speech here.

I agree. The buyer will never know if the seller is really legit. What if it is already the authorities? Here in our country, NBI are now wise, they can trace you once you violated a cyber crime law. There's a lot of laws now in accordance with the internet so we need to be careful.

Maybe the only thing is the method because if you want to buy drugs with with bitcoin you can do it online on some dark market. But this could be tricky because there are also lot of scammers on darkweb markets or you can get trouble with police. People think that buying drugs with bitcoin will protect them because they will stay anonimous but in real life that is not always the case.

Everything has good and bad. Here the anonymity is a good thing in one form, at the same it gives easy access for unwanted use of bitcoin. One amongst is the use in drugs and for other illegal needs where revealing one's identity creates unwanted issues.

Well, I feel it is true. bitcoin always be a means of transaction to buy something illegal on the Internet, especially drugs. bitcoin transaction path makes them become undetectable, thus making their transactions to be safe and smooth. yeah, but it was done a long time and can not be resolved.

I do not know about that. You can very easily track down a bitcoin transaction. Just look at the blockchain. How exactly can i follow the trail of cash? Also many places where you can get Bitcoin do ask for some identification and i expect it to become standard procedure.

I guess that's a lot safer, we can buy beer and cigarette online is great and I think there are stores that are selling that already but I believe in my area there no one is doing this, so I just have to cash out my bitcoin if ever I feel I like to drink. But buying illegal drugs is a big no no to me, I would never try that, I am afraid of my life to that might compromise in the future.
