We can't controll them, people have ultimate controll over their bitcoin they can do whatever they want with their bitcoin even though that's illegal. However if i were a criminal i would not use bitcoin, we all know that bitcoin's transaction is traceable (if he didn't used mixing service or something to hide his transaction) and listed permanently on blockchain so the alternative is using the alternative coin like monero due to monero offering secure, private and untraceable features, That's why online drug dealers must started to adopt it because it enables them to get more anonymity than bitcoin.

yes that is a fact that, we can buy drugs from all kinds of currencies, but i think bitcoin is the new emerging currency and may be people have some limitation therefore they want to clear themselves.

This is a cause for concern, people would be free to buy and sell illegal goods including drugs. I think it depends very much of us, without the bitcoin buying and selling drugs also already exists. I recommend don't use bitcoin to buying drugs because against the law.

Well bitcoins has been used for a lot, A LOT of illegal bussines like for drugs, money laundry, probably funding some terrorists since bitcoins is almost full anon and it didn't have that big of an negative impact. I mean the price went up to 800$ today, despite those illegal actions. All publicity is good publicity.

Yeah I agree with you, as buying drugs is just another purpose of using bitcoin, so why does that can affect a currency's image? But the sad truth is that people still have this wrong way of thinking. They still assume bitcoin is something bad and illegal and needed to be avoided because of news about how bitcoin is put into the system of drugs dealing. And this has somehow slowed down the growth of bitcoin.

True, and it has been happening already and they are using bitcoin because this is acceptable online with a value and they can be anonymous with using bitcoin. These people are hard to trace in the darkweb, they can always make new sites every time the government will track down the other.

Drug is a broadly used term. Drug should not be used unethically. Bitcoin is a currency. If any one become drug dependent, it is quite harmful. Bitcoin is a alternative way of transaction and making payment. If anyone become addicted and use bitcoin only to buy drugs (harmful) then I think, he/she should think again.

Here in my country also free from drugs and I think it is also free from black market link with Bitcoin . Because I had never listen in my country that anyone is using Bitcoin to make illegal things or bad activity with it .
