I send a 5dollar payment to a friend of mine (but with goods, as it was a real trade) , and he got 4.5... 10% fee, really??
Yes this have also happened to me in past several times. They are getting richer and richer daily with 10%+ fees and also minimum fee system they have.

I use paypal anyway cause I dont want to sell my bitcoin right now.

But paypal and ebay are a bunch of thieves with their fee's and a bunch of
a-holes with their rules.

But for now Im stuck using them...

True, it sucks to pay ~$4 for a ~$100 sold item. But it's the most popular way to pay and customers demand it. So yeah, we're stuck at it for now. Bitcoin right now is too technical for the general population I believe.

Let's be honest, there is a small repulsion from the btc community towards btc paypal because of the refunds,... But, let's be honest a second time, Paypal is just an easy way to pay with online. But I'm having trouble finding some decent markets/sites/services that still accepts paypal.

So yea, my question: where do you guys still use paypal nowadays?

I use paypal to buy from local online shops. They are all legit though. The website's name is Lazada. They accept paypal and other modes of payment but since their shop sells almost everything you'll ever need (clothing, gadget, grocery), I use my paypal to buy on their website. They also accept payments from unverified paypal and I find that very efficient since I haven't been able to verify my paypal account just yet.
i wonder how they can afford from those mass fraud order even they're a big company but if there's does exist a fraud order just say it 200 fraud order in a day and even the items cost average is 5$,they'll lose 1000$ everyday just because of this, and i think the fraud order will more than this
I agree with your statement, with unverified paypal account there is a chance of acts like that, but they want their to be accessable to all over the world and for that they would have to accept unverified paypal, or bitcoin.

Actually I haven't use paypal on anything except games. Everytime I have something earned penny, I always spend them to my games which I used to play a few years already.

I have Paypal account, but I never use it to buy something.
Paypal needs to be verified to do transaction, while Bitcoin don't.
That's why I'm more convenient use Bitcoin.

Some online shops accept unverified Paypal though.
but i think it would be way better if the shops accepted bitcoin because in my opinion we need to make the shops accept it right now in order to attract a lot of people to bitcoin

i hope this will surely be possible in the future and i hope that we will not need to use paypal for online shopping any more because i think its way better payment method

Paypal gone too greedy with the cuts and rates.

I just use my creditcard instead of paypal, or better: bitcoin.

Of course those are for the trusted sellers. If i am buying something from a seller i don't know before, i use paypal then. But this doesn't happen much.

Sometimes you are just forced to use paypal.
If you cant use btc I would rather use paypal then a debit card directly to a merchant.

if i am forced to pay for certain things only with paypal, then i simply skip that site. i don't have paypal and i will never create another paypal account. so far i have never seen a site that only uses paypal as payment option.
I think if you skip the site you will have trouble finding the correct site accept bitcoin or credit card only. and maybe you will not get a specific item or you want.
because all of the processes by paypal. most common sites using paypal for their payment method.

In revenue bitcoin has already bypassed paypal but when it comes to acceptance bitcoin is fair behind.
Therefore it is good to have a paypal account because most of the shops accept it.

We should switch to Bitcoins for buying stuff online.

I would also agree to this bitcoin is much convenient to use to buy stuff online than paypal and bitcoin is much cheaper for merchant.

Ohh. Did I forgot to mention that their website's admin is very wise? Roll Eyes
Sorry about that. People might think that stolen Paypal accounts and bank accounts can be used to buy stuffs on their website. But they are wrong. I do have some friends that are trying to do some 'black hat' stuffs on that website but they just can't do it. Unlike with some online shop in the US, they can use stolen paypal accounts and bank accounts. I do not have the knowledge to explain how they block those malicious/suspicious accounts from buying to their website though.

Yes, I do still use paypal for several deals that I think that could potentially bring harm to myself, I usually use paypal when making a transaction with a person that I know of yet, because paypal has features that are quite helpful to me for refund that I send and I can take when in the transaction, the person receiving the funds I commit fraud.
