I think I've used Paypal 7 or 8 times last year, and I will do that again this year. I sure would prefer to use BTC, but there are still many services which don't accept it. Some things are changing really slowly. I wish I could read about a retailer saying he's making more sales with BTC than Paypal.

There are many issues beyond the refunds with PainPal.  It is the easiest online because it is really the only option because of the amount of people using it and accepting it.

Big companies such as Google, Amazon or Steam don't accept paypal anymore.

People can still purchase apps and digital content on Google Play using Paypal payment method from their Google account.

But only depends on the supported country and my country is not listed there lol.

and because of this reason paypal is going to die very sooner, bitcoin is a worldwide adoptable payment system, so a business/company for its success and access of all over the world will adopt bitcoin.

Let's be honest, there is a small repulsion from the btc community towards btc paypal because of the refunds,... But, let's be honest a second time, Paypal is just an easy way to pay with online. But I'm having trouble finding some decent markets/sites/services that still accepts paypal.

So yea, my question: where do you guys still use paypal nowadays?
i believe outhere still many marketplace accept paypal as main payment, and so far i admit that paypal easier to use as payment, but its dont mean i used paypal for payment,i never open my paypal again since i'm active in bitcoin.

There are a lot of websites that do not accept bitcoin so I'm 'forced' to use paypal, even though there is an option to pay with the debit card i still prefer paypal because i feel safer.

Don't know why you can't find store acccepting paypal, the only change bitcoin has made in some stores is like bitcoin added as payment method next to paypal. And people who can't use paypal or who want lower or no fee are choosing bitcoin as payment method. But volume wise i think still most of the store transactions are from paypal.

With Paypal you can purchase things at almost every online store and websites world wide. This is something that Bitcoin not has, I hope that this is going to change in the near future.

While it's true that it's pretty easy making transactions  with paypal, it's not much harder with bitcoin either, you just have to have bitcoin debit card. I know it's
not exactly what we want, but it's the best we have so far if you are stuck with sellers that won't accept bitcoin directly.

Paypal can also integrate with bitcoin in the future.
How? What can Paypal offer to pay an extra fee while paying with bitcoins? They can make a transaction refundable, like Paypal, but that makes bitcoin unreliable. I see no reason to use Paypal as company in the middle of a transaction.

Honestly I rarely use PayPal as a payment, but usually I use it on eBay cuz the seller there just accept PayPal as the payment.
Ebay has many users who make fake chargebacks after they receive the product and hence I've stopped using it. I was an active seller there and after 2 chargebacks, I just gave up on it.

OP, if you are a buyer then ebay is a good prace to buy stuff online but it's not good for sellers.

I use Paypal with online stores. And ebay of course.
I don't think that I have ever seen an online store in my country where you can buy real goods by paying with bitcoins.
Amazon works with visa card, and most of the digital goods go by bitcoins.

I still use paypal to buy stuff on steam

Do you know that Steam introduced paying with bitcoins recently?

That hasn't yet happened has it? I read about that a few weeks ago, as far as I know it's only a rumor (some guy found provision for Bitcoin in the code or something) although it probably will happen at some point. Just now launched the Steam client and I can't find Bitcoin anywhere. Found nothing with Google either.

I use paypal for ebay since they offer guarantees with refunds and offer some kind of discounts sometimes with using them by promotions sent by an email notification. Plus they own ebay so it is seamless payment processing using them.

That's true. I never heard or read about PayPal chargebacks earlier and I've been using PayPal for about 6-7 years without any issue. I came to this forum and read so many people claiming to be chargedback and I feel this is common with those trading in bitcoins or on ebay as mostly scammers use this to their advantage. PayPal is the easiest way for many users to sell or buy stuff online but due to people with a low life, they have totally ruined it.

Edit: I use PayPal to sell my gift cards on this forum itself and only accept it from trustworthy users. Else, I can suggest you to use cardpool or other gift card websites to buy gift cards and there are several other websites that accept PayPal as a main payment method. Even Ebay uses it. I haven't ever found it difficult to pay with PayPal and recently a shopping website also introduced it as a payment option.

Have you checked this: https://shopping.paypal.com/stores

Ya it is true that most of the charge backs are done on deal with bitcoin trading as paypal dont support bitcoins but one more reason is the fees that paypal charges is too high comparing to bitcoin.

You mean this, right?

I use paypal to buy on Ebay. I would use something else if I could, but Ebay and Paypal do not have much competition.
Yes, I was just overreading the same mistake over and over again. thank you, will edit in a sec.
