So what do you guys do with your mined Bytom aside from holding in wallet? is there any exchange that accept it? as far as I know exchanges only accept erc20 ones.

~Full-Time Minter since 2016~
Can others confirm a 1080 TI is doing ~1000 hashes on Bytom?

What are the system specs? CPU?

i havent mined Bytom for a bit, but i just grabbed that latest "Nebu_Tech" miner and tried it. id say 1000h/s is surely doable
mine did 950 out the gate @ a simple 1950 clock, im sure if others got their core to 2050-2100 it would be over 1000h/s

@ 72% PL it does 825 still, this is matched with an 8700k, in a desktop workstation, not a rig , and i believe x8 pci-e
(MSI FE 1080ti)

I have a sai/power limiter but @70% TDP i do get 770 hashes, with both rigs (i3-8100 3,60Ghz/8G ram/Win10) 1x asus strix rig / 1 evga rig (2ftw3/4sc's). Sadly I get constant crashes of the miner, I do believe its problem after updating Win, because I've tried with all the last drivers, in both rigs and it's the same s**t. BTW those values do consume around 190/195W, so I believe there's room to get the 1.000 @ 100%

Whats your over clocking settings though? Lower TDP on the afterburner doesn't always equal lower hashes if combined with other adjustments.  When you overclock the core with 55% TDP limit applied you are basically undervolting the core.  Thats why you get:

e.g. 260h/s at stock settings @  62%TDP on a 1060 3gb  62 degrees
and 263h/s at   +160 core +400mem @ 55% TDP on the same card.

Also in nvidia inspector P0 mode forces better performance.

gonna try nvidia inspector forced p0state in a min.. currently my 1080 for example is at 70% tdp, 135+ core and 600+ mem oc. spitting out 600-620 hashes per sec.

edit: 1060s are doing between 280 and 300 hashes at 62% tdp, 135+ core and 400+ mem

I have 4 rigs.. ranging from 2 GB RAM to 4 GB RAM.. cant say I experience any discarded shares on any of my rigs.

oh and by the way...this algo really likes power... normally my cards use 1300w(lyra2z) to around 1500w(equi or/and eth) but this shit wants 1800w.. prolly because every CPU have to work more aswell Smiley

I guess they are releasing more efficient miners in the future!

If you want to reduce your power consumption try this:

1. Install Nvidia inspector 》 choose force p2 mode in common off.  Also choose maximum performance.

2. In afterburner. Set power limit to 55%. Then on each card set core to +150. Ram +400.  (These should work on any card. With Samsung you should go to +500ram.) Going higher ram has no effect. Higher core can help. Try steps of +10.

3. Goto power settings. Advanced in Windows and change maximum cpu usage to 10%. This will shave off about 20watts per cpu and only effect the hash rate slightly.

On a i5 4 x 1060 this gives you about 1080h/s. At about 300watts.

yeah I could try lower CPU max utilization.. but as for the gpus the thing that can lower power usage is to lower tdp..but then I loses hashes.. I think ive found my sweet spot at around 70% tdp for the higher end cards (1070/ti/1080) and the 1060s performs well enough at around 62% tdp Smiley

Any good pools for Bytom?
uupool is not counting like 50-60% of the stable hash rate sent to it.

How much memory in your system?  I had 4GB and ran into this same issue with 25%-50% shares being rejected by pool.  However, when I tried again with 8GB RAM then it became stable and normal with very few rejected shares.  My cpu was C3930 Kaby Lake edition so lower end cpu too.

I have setup my miner to mine on any of the btom pools. I keep getting "The remote host closed the connection" and also I am not getting any Accepted shares. It keeps saying New job arrived and Found a target, submitted.

Is the profitability very high or am I doing something wrong?
