Bitcoin is open to all. Anyone can use bitcoin so long as they have enough knowledge as to its usage and how to earn it. Before when bitcoin wasn't this popular, only a handful of people know how To use it and this area seems so deep and too technical. Though this still stands true, somehow we must know its technicalities and and how it works for us to be able to utilize it accordingly. other than that, establishments where bitcoin can be accepted in certain transactions must also be available so anyone can use it.

I think the difficulty with Bitcoin is teaching people how to use it. Most people are on their phones all day, every day. We need to develop wallet app that can also be used to pay for things by tapping or scanning like Apply pay or debit cards.

The advantage of bitcoin is that everyone who is smart enough can use it and no one will stop you while you are annonymous and noing everything safe. There are only technical and legal problems that stop spreading cryptocurrencies.

Do we ever consider ourselves as "ordinary citizens"? I think we are far more than an ordinary citizen. We who involve ourselves in the cryptocurrency world has the advantage compared to the ordinary citizens. I think it is a privilege that we are knowledgeable about cryptos and how to deal with it. On the other hand, anyone who is willing to learn and get involve with cryptos will have the chance to be a potential user of bitcoin.

Not sure if someone posted this already - but there was just an announcement about a real estate development in Dubai that will be accepting bitcoins to purchase apartments (or condos or flats depending on where you live Tongue)

Units start at 30 bitcoin

Do a simple search for ''bitcoin dubai real estate''.

This is definitely a sign of some mainstream usage

That's new to me , since i don't usually read news. Thank you for bringing it up. But i think its a big risk for the developer , but also a great way to use bitcoin, literally mainstream in these generation.

Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?
I think free bitcoin is used by all community groups, especially for people interested in technology. even now more and more housewives are plunged into bitcoin world.
How do you get that free bitcoins? I wish that's easy but in my case I have to buy if I want to invest with a considerable amount.
Anyone can use it including kids but they have to understand that really is bitcoin and not just a online job.

Bitcoin can not only be used by ordinary citizens - it was MADE for ordinary citizens. The purpose of Bitcoin is to allow normal people to be their OWN BANK. Hence the slogan of Blockchain.info... you get to control your own private keys and money in a way that has never been possible before, except by physical gold when that was actually used to buy things. And even physical gold pales in comparison to Bitcoin because it cannot be divided as easily whereas BTC can be divided into tiny fractions, allowing for perfectly accurate payments.

Yes,  I think so. But the limitations is about their knowledge and interests on technology. Everybody can use bitcoin as long as they can access a computer or mobile device and connected on line. And also how they acceptance on technology, the way they use it consistently.

I dont think it can be used by ordinary people.. You might now that fees are ridiculous high, so if someone wants to buy food (for example) he might spend $15 in a restaurant, and $6 for fees. This make it impossible to happen taking in consideration that low transactions are gonna cost you more than 25% of your purchase.
I think that bitcoin is more for holding your money and make it grow, and altcoins are for ordinary people, cause their fees are less than $0.30 per transaction

Yes , bitcoin doesn't required any techie knowledge , but requires time , effort and patience. So as long as someone does have that traits he/she can earn bitcoin or use bitcoin.
And i know some in my friends are teachers , housewives use bitcoin in their lives.

They can still use it as long as they know how it works. Nowadays, bitcoin is slowly reaching the masses and maybe after a few years it can have mass adoption so it can be use by the ordinary citizens. All of us started from having no idea how something works and then later on, when we see that almost every one is trying to learn it, we will also be interested to use it just like the computer before. No one immediately knows how the computer works but eventually when it spread like wildfire, we are force to learn for fear of missing out.

I believe these would eventually happen to bitcoin and since some countries already regulate it, sooner or later other countries will follow suit if they see the true potential of cryptocurrencies and the technology behind it and then it would eventually be use by anyone who has accessibility and capability to use it.

Its definitely yes that Bitcoins can be used by ordinary citizens as long as they are knowledgable enough with how Bitcoins works. They just have to patient enough to learn it and eventually time will come most people will have it as their own.

It can be used by ordinary citizens if the demand of it comes in i mean there's no use of knowing ,having or owning bitcoins if there will be no reason why they have it. Common people would think that it would be such a waste of money if theh cant even use it in theor evryday life. Let's be honest if they'll going to have or use it it would be use as a necessity and not as a way of investment I suppose. So to sum up my point of view , maybe it will come but not in the near future.

There are people who use bitcoin wallet nowadays in terms of making additional income nor use it to make their lives much more easier. For example some bitcoin wallet can be used to purchase online and pay bills online which is more convenient if you don't have much time to go out. And it depends if they want to explore more about bitcoin. But knowing the basic idea regarding this will do for them as long as it helps.

bitcoins are indeed one of the latest technologies and only people who understand the technology can know. but I think, bitcoin can be applied to all people who have various professions of work because the most important there should be a special coaching to people who do not know bitcoin even have no expertise in the world of technology. If through coaching still not evenly distributed, we can use the method of organization formation in areas that work to serve people in the area in transactions using bitcoin.

Of course it can be used! There are a lot of smartphone wallets that are incredibly easy to use anywhere and anytime. Also there are a lot of business acepting bitcoin.

Another option is to get a bitcoin credit card like the xapo one, but I don't recommend it because its high fees.

I think an ordinary man doesnt need to know the tech behind btc in order for him to use it.We all use laptop, mobiles and other hi tech things but do we all know tech behind them?It is irrelevent
What is important is they know how to use it, it's easy to use if you believe in it first and in order to believe you have to make a research
and understand it. Using is very simple as it is just like you are making an online transaction which is more easier than the usual things like
banking transaction.
