I am an ordinary people before bitcoin was introduced to me.  I think everyone can do it with just a little push by someone who knows something about it.
It is not that hard to get knowledge from it just dont go deeper yet like mining. Those are for people who are specializing with that field.

Yes, of course, who would think any else? Now, some may be off-putted by how it works as with it being a "technological" kind of thing to recently arise, but with it's still at current low transaction fee, less restrictive than banking or other fiat based systems, and less restrictive and even welcoming to all characteristics, nobody is meant to be excluded and everybody can get something more out of it than say, Paypal or having to work with a credit card or banking institution. You just have to have willing people.

It is difficult to measure yes or not, some MMM ponzi scam investors are older than 40 years old, but they can use bitcoin for payment, why not ordinary citizens can't?  Roll Eyes

Of course bitcoin can be used by the average guy on the street. I'm not hugely gifted tech wise but after some research I managed to get involved in bitcoin.

People who are super dumb might struggle but as technology advances for example the ETF it will be easy for non techie people to invest in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?

Bitcoin can use for everyone who wants to read, learn and of course interest, don't need to have a tech skill, because basically it's easy to use.

Why people still not use bitcoin is lack of education around, lazy and volatile price.
I'm sure more people aware about bitcoin right now, but the things I have mentioned make them think again to use.

Actually the prevailing number or the highest number number of bitcoin users were ordinary citizens. They dont understand how bitcoin was made or works but they just focus on its usability and practicality. Only a few of the members of the bitcoin community knows and understand what is mining. In the Philippines among the thousand of bitcoin users there are only a handful of people that somehow has basic knowledge on the technical aspects of bitcoin.

Actually everyone could use bitcoin but generally people who are interested with technology are mainly engaged with bitcoin but the techie people teach and tell advantages of bitcoin then normal people will also start using it.

I think every one can use bitcoin. It is not made for specific people but for anyone who sees the need for it. Bitcoin serves the need of technologically minded people who use the internet for businesses.

Yes, anyone can use Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is still still technical for people in the class above especially in the developing companies. Thanks to the recent penetration of smart phones into these market and this would give the developers chance to develop a user friendly apps that any Joe can use

Do you find any difficulties for a common man to use Internet ? If one person is capable of using Internet then there would be no technical knowledge will be needed for him to start using and adopting bitcoin ecosystem.

I believe anyone will get into bitcoin ecosystem so easily after some initial guidelines. I guess those initial guidelines also do not need to be from experts as many great video tutorials are easily available on youtube.

according to my observation, most people do not know about Bitcoin. only those who love technology as we know and love it. If we want to develop further Bitcoin, we should bring technology closer to people's lives better. That is the best way to grow Bitcoin. Your observations are correct, and I think anyone saw it

I see the good side of people that can use bitcoin, may have a more detailed guide and inform them slowly so that they understand and how to use bitcoin, maybe that way they will be easy to understand, use bitcoin.

I don't understand why would you say that only technical people would use Bitcoin, when I was started Bitcoin I had no technical knowledge to use it. However coming to your question I am positive any one can use Bitcoin subject to, that it is explained in a language he or she understands. It's often seen people who use Bitcoin will try to sell the concept of Bitcoin to others and then it doesnt work and people are like omg he did not understand but if the words are changed why not, then will understand. I have personally conviced my fitness builder to get into it, and have got so many of my Senior folks hooked up to it. So yes people only get in if they understand the simplicity not the technicality

Sooner or later, they will learn how to use bitcoin. The thing is, if they want to learn how to use bitcoin, they can learn it. But if they don't want, then they won't learn it. Now, bitcoin is new, new to them, so therefore it is hard to learn about it, but as soon as they see others doing it and transacting using bitcoin, I am sure that they will learn how to use it.  Smiley

I think it won't unless a new payment wallet released, ordinary citizens can't understand bitcoin, and may be confused by complex address, wrong payment can be usually happening.

Situation does really depend and if we are talking about ordianry citizens then theres nothing that would blocked them to know about bitcoin and this would depend on the awareness that it does exist the main problem here is that ordinary people doesnt have good knowledge about technology does depend on an individual though.

the reason for why ordinary people are not using bitcoin, is because they need to buy, and investment are always see with a certain risk

if those people could receive their bitcoin directly in the form of their salary for their job, i'm sure the usage of bitcoin would increase exponentially

Why not... Everyone can learn it when it is necessary to use bitcoin. if it could make their transactions easier, I don't see any hindrance that they can't learn how to use bitcoin...

Don't forget that before, we don't know how to use cellphone, how to use computer, but due to the reason that we need it and it is necessary, we started to learn how to send text messages, and to send an email... So I think, same as in bitcoin, if they found it useful in the future, then they can learn how to use it...  Smiley

I think the growing list of digital devices will enable all people to access and use bitcoins. People born in the year 2000 onwards have much exposure to digital devices so they'll have an easier time adopting bitcoin as their second currency should it be introduced to them appropriately. The internet too is becoming omnipresent and someday it will be all arounds us like oxygen thus, enabling easier access to the internet for all people.
