Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?
Bitcoin can be used for every one include teachers, tradesmen, butchers, firemen, housewives, police and other people, bitcoin is like money or gold every people can use it. They don't needs technical knowledge about bitcoin in usage bitcoin, sometime there are many people who use bitcoin in their real life for payment transaction although will needs long time until it happen.

Every citizen can use bitcoin without any limitations in respect to the government. Few governments have officially banned bitcoin usage. Even in those countries people use bitcoin. The internet along with interest to use an advancement is a must to be a part of bitcoin. Also if you fix yourself as a person who move with rules and regulatory framework then its not for you. Because it has both harm as well a big advantageous part.

For me,anyone can use bitcoin even if they are interested or not in technology. As long as they really wanted to grow or invest more money they would be interested in using bitcoin.I can say that in the future more people can use bitcoin no matter what state of life because they want to be practical.

first there needs to be some place they can "use" bitcoin at. if we want to talk about usage. then if there is a place to use bitcoin just the way there is a place to use credit card, even if "regular citizens" don't understand the technology behind bitcoin they can use it with their phone Apps, with their third party services that make it easier and so on.
In our days technology is widely known by people . So i think that many people can reach bitcoin and also the regular citizens youve said. We are in 21st century so technology is all out the world. The only problem i think is how the people will know the great things about bitcoin. If bitcoin become popular thats the time more business will accept bitcoin together for people to get time to search about bitcoin. And the best think to learn about bitcoin is here in forum. So the answer is simple encourage people to read and join here in forum like this.

Why shouldn´t it be? The whole idea is to make it mainstream, meaning that everyone will be able to use it, So, yeah, ordinary citizens can and should use bitcoin

The rate of use will always be limited when there is no state-sponsored initiative. People often do not use things that the states do not support. The biggest reason for this is trust.
I think bitcoin is a better thing with people who use less.

I think it won't unless a new payment wallet released, ordinary citizens can't understand bitcoin, and may be confused by complex address, wrong payment can be usually happening.
It is not as easy as people think it is, it is an advantage to have known about bitcoin in this age but have found some professors who believe computer makes people lazy. So are those also who find it difficult to use smartphone let alone bitcoin. However, one mistake at initial use can be discouraging, Imagine if bitcoin was sent to wrong address at the first transfer, or u made a mistake in private keys, It can be discouraging. So anyone who will be interest needs to guided, at least for a while.

I don't see any problem with users who don't know bitcoin and wants to use it. I am sure that they will learn about it when they need to use it. It's like a necessity, when we need bitcoin to survive in the future, then we can learn how to use it.

Back to your question OP, I think most of the professionals right now, even ordinary people has knowledge on how to use computer.

Very wrong and a very dull comment. How is Bitcoin "like a necessity" and how do you know that Bitcoin will be needed to survive in the future? Bitcoin is far from being a necessity. If Bitcoin was not convertible to fiat money none of us would be here to have an interest of knowing more about it. We are here because it can be exchanged for fiat. In that situation, what is the necessity there? It is fiat.

If fact if it would be adopted by the mainstream there could be solutions like NFC chips, and that is exactly what we have now.  Wink

I can't see it making it outside of the internet world but I may be wrong maybe media will start broadcasting about BitCoin on TV I can't be for sure about it but something like that could arise.
why not, in my opinion bitcoins are going to be national currencies of the countries, people will be using it more and more and hopefully its price is going to be booming in the near future.

With just a little simple explanation, I believe that everyone could be able to use it. Even without the knowledge of how blockchain and the whole mining, transaction process works. But first you need to attract those people to learn just a little simple things anbout bitcoin, and that will come in time.

I agree with you, no need to know how blockchain and mining is, because even me before, I just know how to earn bitcoin by rendering services posted and asked by people around here and so to blockchain, all I know was to get money on my coin wallet and there is a transaction fee in every sending and receiving the coin. So ordinary citizen can totally use this bitcoin like saving or investing bitcoin.

but how when someone have no gadget and no internet? this is the main problem of bitcoin , it's required some knowledge too that's why some people call bitcoin are for tech savvy only. for those people who have familiar with internet stuff maybe it's really not a big deal indeed.

well yes, it does but if the ones intention is only using bitcoin as a mean of payment, then that knowledge isn't that much needed in large means and that much wide, a little bit of knowledge beforehand would help as with anything.

Maybe, but those people that don't have internet or gadgets wouldn't even be interested in bitcoin, they mostly keep it old school because they actually don't need to have any smart phone or internet

No one is born with all knowledge. Everyone needs to learn! And when we talk Bitcoin, I think its easier than Banking system, isn't it? Standing in line, filling forms, writing Account number, IFSC code, signing at  2-3 places. Compare this all to 'copy/paste address, write amount and click send!' Bitcoin is much easier and can be easily adoptable by all groups. Just need little familiarity!!

Now the thing is what do you mean by certain technology because bitcoin cannot be used without a simple smartphone/PC that's the basic requirement along with internet connectivity. From your examples, tradesmen certainly do use bitcoin, while about the other there is not many at this point but if bitcoin becomes more popular everyone having a simple smartphone would be using bitcoin.

its the responsibility  of techie guys and bitcoin lovers like us who should make ordinary people aware of the technology and we should encourage them to use it otherwise in whole life they might not hear about it. and we should really publicize the technology of our future's good
