Actually bitcoin has almost become a world currency, like dolllar or euro. Everyone know about the bitcoin today and every new day more people invest to cryptocurrency and bitcoin. So what else we can say to bitcoin? But in near future the bitcoin may become the universal digital currency and in like 2035-2040 may become world official currency..
Exactly, we are almost in the process of spreading the great news of bitcoin to almost every corner of the corner. I believe in no time bitcoin would be used in daily business transaction just like the  fiat currencies we have around.

Yes, I think bitcoin can become the Universal currency like the USD, but It needs more acceptance and more time. To acceptance bitcoin by every country, we need to spread good words, its facility, why this is good and other positive things. I hope, In the future, Bitcoin will be the leading currency.

I think that it is a great idea to make btc the main currency all over the world because it is an innovative solution and powerful coin which can provide us with many benefits. To my mind, it will happen with time

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the most popular and most sought cryptocurrency at present. But I do not see it as being the universal currency any time in the future. Fiat will still remain as legal currency for years to come. As for Bitcoin, it will reign as the top crypto for a long time. But eventually, time will come that it will be ousted by another crypto from its own lineage. Only time will reveal everything.

Well I think that bitcoin has all chances to become a universal currency. Perhaps in the future it would happen. But bitcoin needs to be improved.

In order for Bitcoin to become the universal currency of the world, it first needs to simply become a good currency that is widely and universally used as a payment system and has the necessary technical qualities for this - full-value transactions and almost zero commission fees. If you think that Bitcoin is already quite ripe for this, we will prepare it for the role of the universal currency of the world.

I don't think bitcoin can be a universal currency since it is digital it can be hacked. A lot of bitcoin hacking incedents already happened and the holders can't do anything about the lost coins. You can't sue anybody. There's no insurance that will get the money back. In short, security issue is one of the main causes of bitcoin not getting close to being a global currency.

Of course you can, provided the government wants to conduct a neutral study, not just on the negative side. Bitcoin is good if it is used as a universal currency because of its limited amount, this can prevent the country from experiencing inflation, and ease of transactions. But the government must also care about miners because bitcoin transactions depend on miners as well.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency coin and its price always out of control. If bitcoin price stable and government can control bitcoin and its price this time only can possible universal currency of the world. But day by day people are interested in bitcoin but some of the countries want to bitcoin ban forever. So its impossible to use the currency of the world.

It can become a universal currency very easily if bitcoin has the acceptance by governments and it has every quality because the world we live in becoming digitized so why not currencies that we use daily to buy goods and services to fulfill our needs and bitcoin provides a good solution for that with its unique features to make effective, efficient and most secure payments for any user with basic technological facilities

I think bitcoin is difficult to use as a world currency, an unstable and too risky value so the government will oppose it. I think bitcoin is only a community currency, but to be a world currency, I doubt it.

Theoretically, this is possible, but the problem is that governments will not allow this, otherwise, we should forget about the anonymity of Bitcoin. This is the main reason why many countries do not accept it, but my opinion is that Bitcoin may well become a global currency.

The success of bitcoin in the future is 50/50. It can become a universal coin that will be used by everyone in the world, but it can also die forever. Bitcoin is a good coin, I love it, but it has some big problems that can prevent it from becoming a universally accepted currency.

It can't, simply because the properties of bitcoin doesn't fit what the economy of the world needs, let alone a single country. It can be used for online and cross-border transactions, perhaps a form of salary if regulations will permit such, but that's as far as bitcoin goes. It cannot be used for stimulating the economy and for the central banks' quantitative easing since there are parameters in which new bitcoins are created, and it cannot be broken. For bitcoin to assume the role of a universal currency, it should be controlled, and that's not gonna happen no matter how many proposals and years of pleading it would take.

Universities and organizations accepting bitcoin as a means of donations is a regular procedure now.
It goes a little way in increasing adoption and popularity.
But bitcoin is still yet to grow to be used as a global currency.

I cannot see why any government would want to use an open source, unregulated and decentralised
currency like bitcoin. They would have no control over it.

Well I think in most of the countries government Is playing placard here is the dominance of cryptocurrencies are increasing everyday the private bankers are scared as it will overtake with few years also they push the government to announce as it is not a legal one and they say it as unsecure for people's investment.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
this is one of the oldest questions that the newbies always ask. i am surprised that you started a website post about this!
bitcion was never meant to be the world's currency and denounce all other fiat. bitcoin is only meant to be used as a currency all around the world by people who want the freedom it gives them.

It can be but is not so easy. All countries will not easily accept and regulate it. Still, most of countries can accept in a few years.
