A small possibility indeed, the $50,000 USD sure is a great price for Bitcoin to settle, but the possibility is pretty much slim but maybe it will if the whales would interrupt with Bitcoin and may have their own pump manipulation again that can be possible but given the latest all-time high the price might just sit to $30,000 or $40,000 USD only.

Don't worry you are not the only one who's having second though because there are many indeed that have the same prediction and including myself.

Indeed, it's quite right. It has a slim possibility that Bitcoin will reach $50k but who knows. I have doubt it will but in my mind it is impossible. Probably the next blockchain halving will come and we might be happy to result that our expected price will hit. So, let the time can tell and reveal the truth soon with this bitcoin price. Because it is very highly volatile and unpredictable we don't know what happens next. Let's do hope it will happen.

50,000 is a very high value but Iam sure too the price of bitcoin will definitely be able go up there it ,we all know that in the near future bitcoin pump will often occur and Iam sure there will be 2020 pump but it will definitely not peak at 50,000

$5000 to high if want to achieved in several months left.we still have 2 months again , meanwhile current price still around $9.000.if we want to hit this price maybe positive statement from china' s president needed again as trigger. Maybe $16.000 good enough for bitcoin price this year.on 2021 we will more imppresive to bitcoin price.

$50k is a big dream. You should act with facts instead of dreams. It is very difficult to get the answer you want here, because there is no one can give the exact answer. I only can say about it, there will be a better opportunity for BTC to rise in next year.

That is a long way to go to just count for a year though. But it is a thing, not sure but it could be possibly happened. As bitcoin is so dynamic that people demand's goes sky-rocketted it could happened right away. I don't know any statistics out there but bitcoin did hit 20k by 2017 wherein there are who are in and who are out for bitcoin but still it hits. And as it progress there will always be a light. It will surely make everyones wealthy.

For sure no coin could ever make the value same as bitcoin because bitcoin is number one coin and it will remain the same forever. People who are buying now will surely hold until it become $50k and yeah panic selling is the only thing which makes wrong image and wrong direction of crypto so to see bitcoin 50k dollar it’s important to wait and see till end of 2020.

We're too far to meet that price as of the moment, and even if we see it recovering from latest dip its too hard to acquire that expensive price. Maybe I could go for possibilities of $15k or less, and maybe the expectations I got was to a small price just to avoid getting frustrated someday. Most probably in 2020 let's see if $50k will be a realistic idealism for everybody.

Altcoins has no match for Bitcoin, at least we haven't seen any coin which will be for now, probably in the future there might be.
What could contribute to the price of Bitcoin reaching 50k by Dec 2020 are more adoption, less panic sell and more positive acceptance from governments.

If I or anyone guarantees you that the value of bitcoin will reach $50k by December, such person will be a liar or a scammer, we can all only speculate that we expect the price to reach that amount, but we have to still be able to analyze it too, we have to talk about the things that we see that makes us to conclude that the value will reach there.

I am a believer of bitcoin and I wish for the very best for the coin, but I don’t really see it getting that far by that time because of so many of these manipulators that we see in the market which will always crash the price of bitcoin at any time and always make it dump before its set time. It is only massive adoption that can really make us to have such value by that time, so we have to do everything possible by 2020 to really push much avert for bitcoin.

Have you take a look to the price lately, the tendency of the market is really clear the price is going down and there is nothing you can do to change it, I will love to see bitcoin reaching 50,000 dollars by December of 2020, that is in fact one of my target prices and I'll be extremely happy about it but I have to be honest with myself and acknowledge that is not going to happen,

There is not really a reason why bitcoin will go so high so fast, also you are making the assumption that somehow altcoins are going to help bitcoin to cross that level and if anything the opposite is true, altcoins take money away from bitcoin and weaken it.

No one knows actually. You can dream of it, even some people say Bitcoin will hit 100K USD, some say 1 Million, but no one can ensure you. To me, this is just daydream, Bitcoin won't hit 50K or 100K USD in 2020! I think it will go to 20K USD within the next year, that can be a good start for the next bull run!

$50k, really have small possibility to happen. Maybe big pump, if i want to speculate is around january or maybe march because people will start to buy if they want to not late at halving. Halving ETA date is on May, so i think before that day, price can be pumped. But until how much i am not really sure.

Bitcoin has the potential to reach 20k, but in the end, it is only potential. It depends on how the community squeezes out the potential of bitcoin completely and only then will we see Bitcoin reaching the top. Imo though, it would reach 20k not at Dec 2020 but rather the Q1 of 2021 instead. Dec 2020, we could still see the effects of the halving and comparing it to the past halvings, BTC price always goes down whenever halving occurs and only after a year would it start a bullish run. I do expect another ATH once 2021 or 2022 rolls out.

If the batty numbers are to arrive I don't think it'll happen in 2020. There might be the beginnings of some rumblings of interest by that point, but my guess is it'll remain relatively uneventful overall until the following year.

If nothing of note happens in 2021 I wonder what people will make of it. I for one will be half unsurprised and half shocked out of my panties.

Can it? Sure it can! Will it? That's a different question. I think it will but why should it and why shouldn't it that's what you all should think of.
It should go to 50k if it follows the exponential trendline. It should at least go to 10k USD low if it follows the trendline that it is following for 10 years.
It should because the rewards will be worth half of what they are now and because the halving event should and will start a bull run.
It shouldn't because it's being manipulated by whales, USDt, fake volume and more.
