Bitcoin is not a magic wand which will end world poverty. It simply doesn't have the power to end such a massive thing. Also bitcoin is not a payment system anymore. We have moved to a different goal long back, when the confirmation time increased and transaction fees hiked. These confirmation time and transaction fees is going to be increased again and again. So we will move from the initial goal further.

Bitcoin has now purely became an investment asset. IT can provide a huge return which any other conventional investment will never be able to offer ever. So I take bitcoin purely as an investment and a trading asset. I earn profit  and keep it for the future.
Yes his right bitcoin is not a magic that can end poverty but bitcoin can lessen poverty we all know that bitcoin gives us money we earn from it if all people are doing it and investing it lots of people will earn money from it so poverty can lessen but not end
Bitcoin may help some people earn more money, but those that are earning it are using their knowledge to do so, so I think quality education must be the top priority that way those people that are poor could lift themselves out of that state by studying hard and improving themselves.
I couldn't agree more. If we would analyze it, having more focus on educating the people all over the world could end world poverty. After they provide the resources they needed in order for them to have proper education, then most likely they will now choose what would be the best way to help them to make a living and don't just rely on the help of others. And earning Bitcoin is just one of those aspect that they would choose.

Bitcoin alone can't end this major kind of problem, it bounds to many different reasons why it can't.

Financial literacy is one aspect you should look into when it comes to bitcoin and poverty. However, blockchain tech itself and not bitcoin may be more applicable in the development sector. Hopefully we will see more scholarly articles on this topic soon.

In my opinion, it can't end poverty in the world. Bitcoin is just a new currency that helps provide source of income / financial to people that related in business. As of now it can help many people because in bitcoin you can earn bitcoin without investment.

So indirectly you are saying yes! if bitcoin is a source of income for the people then the possibility that it will end poverty will not be ruled out and person having slight knowledge about crypto world and primary computer skills can earn from bitcoin.

I think it depends on the situation. Bitcoin can only end the poverty of those who knows bitcoin, but those who dont know anything about bitcoin, they are always in poverty in thier entire life like on some places were technology have no room.
I think bitcoin cant end poverty especially when you didnt know how to used it. Bitcoin can only provide financial need but it still depends on who are going to used it. Bitcoin will only lessen the number of poor people but cant never solved the problem of poverty in the whole world.

I'm not sure although the presence of bitcoin can alleviate total poverty, may only diminish but few people know only about bitcoin. If without government support it is difficult to overcome poverty.

Seems to be difficult, this is because almost all countries do not want to legalize bitcoin, they worry bitcoin to be economic threat because bitcoin is decentralized system.
Even if bitcoin was legalized, it is not like it is easy to earn bitcoins, to earn huge quantities of bitcoin you need specialized knowledge, you need to know how to code, you need to know about cryptography and you need to be able to use marketing, as you see not many people have those skills and cannot benefit that much from bitcoin.

It will be really difficult if we are planning to end the poverty in this world but it can help an individual to end his/her poverty but still it depends to the person's knowledge to improve his/her abilities and of course if he/she know how to apply the word "patience" .

Yes it's difficult to end world poverty. I think bitcoin can only help to reduce poverty giving oppurtunities to have an extra or full time jobs for those who are unemployed. Yes, other countries don't legalize bitcoin because they are worry that it might a threat to their county but I think bitcoin didn't needed to legalize first before it could help their county as long as people are use and embrace what is bitcoin it could help them. Poverty is a global problem, bitcoin can help to reduce this with the help of others ( education and influence people ) to spread the knowledge about bitcoin and increase bitcoin users.

I think this things will be done only, if all people in the entire world will realize of how bitcoin really good in our lives.
Because, once the individuals discover of course they will get at once to study and learn it and if that happen to all, for sure there will be no
poor person/citizens in all countries. SO poverty has come to an end, but it will takes time before it happens.
bu i think it is not so easy that all the people of the world will start using bitcoin because in most of the area there are people who are illustrate and i think they do not have any knowledge about computer and internet. i think then next generation may be start using bitcoin because they are focusing on education too much and they are also giving more importance to computer and internet.

I don't think bitcoin can solve poverty issues as far as I know bitcoin is just a currency like other currencies it is use to purchase goods and pay services while the issue on poverty is lack of basic needs for people unless otherwise government will use bitcoin to provide the needs of those poor people...but as we can see bitcoin had just started growing and I think it will need more years to find stability in the market...
Yes, it is not right that bitcoin can overcome the world poverty, but at somehow bitcoin can help to provide jobs for educated persons and reduce unemployment. In all over the world a country policy are designed based on middle class peoples are mostly needed jobs wherein mostly people has gotten basic education and bitcoin can provide jobs to educated people.
but to me i think yes bitcoin is too much helpful to reduce poverty from the world. in fact is providing good opportunities to the people, i think if people try to manage some money and then invest it in bitcoin i am sure that after some time they will become enable to get a good profit that they even cannot expect from anywhere else.

People can use bitcoin as a tool to earn a lot of money so they make it richer by increasing their net worth. By using the world's piscine bitcoin to end, but is it all true.

actually when people trying to earn money from bitcoin, they can increase their daily payment from bitcoin so with bitcoin slow by slow they can end poverty. if there is many people join into bitcoin world, they can earn bitcoin and it also makes them to earn money. but this is not easy as they thing because today, to earn bitcoin really need hard work and not stopped day by day.

I fail to understand how Bitcoin can provide an employment opportunity for the people who aren't related to technology and hence can't properly understand Bitcoin. They wouldn't be able to join any campaign here on Bitcointalk. Moreover, if prople are in poverty then how will they have access to computer and Internet. Bitcoin would do nothing for the people with non technical background specially for poverty stricken people who are not even literate enough.

In my opinion can really solve the world's poverty if all countries accept bitcoin. And bitcoin that ends the poverty that is in this part of the world.

But if there government give a hand with bitcoin to reduce poverty. Like we are watching the Google. Before from Google we cannot earn but now a days we are earning because it has merged with double click company which is providing ads. Well it is just internet thing. But I would say that if our government fully support bitcoin then it can become to reduce poverty.
