I think bitcoin can help poor countries indirectly through offering investment options as well as a cheap method to transport money globally even when conducting worldwide transactions. it can also offer few earning options for the residents of poor countries.

yeah that is good bitcoin is a way of cheap money transaction and it provide a god discount on purse.io so the poor people can adopt it and can get benefit with this coin in their life.

Yes, Bitcoin does not support the Government. They support the people. So if bitcoin is introduced in a poor country, that will really help that country.

That is really possible that bitcoin is going to help people who lives in poor countries. But the fact is that because they are poor people who lives in poor countries then the facilities is one of the things that they need to be resolved first. Because having no facility is not going to help them move even bitcoin is there for giving them opportunity.

You have a point there my friend.  How can they make some earning and enjoy the benefits of making their lives profitable through bitcoin if they do not have the equipment.  Equipments like electricity, a set of computer, and internet connection.  These three are essential in having the full benefit of bitcoins.

More and more poor countries are looking at bitcoin because it doesn't need a banking system and expensive overheads and the transaction fees are very cheap which benefits those people who send money working overseas to their loved ones in the poor countries at home so bitcoin is revolutionizing poor countries and economies.
bitcoin will help a poor country because bitcoin transactions have a system that is very easy. one thing to note that support access to technology weapons. such as a computer device and also the openness of the Internet access.

Yes as a money transfer system it's great, low transaction fees and no cross border restrictions/requirements but I don't think it would be wise for these countries/people to rely on Bitcoin as a storage of wealth at least not yet. Plus it would be more practical for them to convert it to their local currencies anyways, I doubt they have many places that accept Bitcoin directly. Bitcoin has only been around for ~7 years, it has yet to pass the test of time (at least in my book).

In terms of being a kind of main income? Than it is a no, the ability to earn a substantial amount of bitcoin for you to live daily is non-existent as for the moment yes having a signature campaign has significant value to it but it is not enough for someone to last even 2 weeks of food with it. Not unless the person has other good ways to earn bitcoin than it can definitely help him/her.

I think that is needed by poor countries is an injection of funds or give jobs to people and it could make the poor be reduced, if they use bitcoin, they can do it

Bitcoin is a good way to provide jobs to the poor people. With bitcoin they will be able to earn the same wage which people in developed countries earn and will be able to live a better life but we have to provide internet connection to them.

I think so, because usually the BTC rewards on internet are relative to dollar. So, for poor countries the low rewards probably will worth, because their local coin is devaluated and dollar costs a lot for them.

And micro tasks anyone can do, it's not hard and those people can have an extra income. Just need to be attention if Bitcoin isn't forbidden in their countries... Because some governments don't like it.

In order to complete tasks, you need to have a smartphone or a computer with internet connection. Really poor people don't have any of that, so how exactly do you think this will work out for them? They work hard for a few bucks every day to buy themselves food. There is no time for anything other than that as they work 7 days in a week in order to eat.

It is very difficult to predict whether bitcoin can really help a poor country or not and it is a very tough claim as well.
People can keep doing micro-jobs to earn bitcoin and then if the country has shops accepting bitcoin then they can easily use the earned bitcoin to buy their daily grocery, medicine, water, electricity and other necessities.
So I think it can help but it needs proper infrastructure to be implemented in a proper manner.

It's more possible to a rich country implement bitcoin or even an goverment altcoin, can you imagine if a country do this? the especulation/value of the coin will raise a lot and it can expand to anothers countries, like a economy block. Maybe this will be the future in a thousand of years...

no i do not think so that bitcoin can help poor countries because poor countries have no facilities of internet and computers.
Maybe years ago, poor countries doesn't have Internet and computer, but today, even third world countries have Internet and almost everyone has a computer. If not, they have a smartphone, which is enough to connect to the Internet and start earning Bitcoins. I think the countries that you were talking about are countries that aren't civilized. Even India has an Internet and a lot of Indians can actually be found on the Internet.

Yeap, nowadays it's easy to see poor people with cellphones and internet, and that's what they need... I saw a news times ago about a cheap smartphone, maybe made in India...

I think bitcoin can help poor countries indirectly through offering investment options as well as a cheap method to transport money globally even when conducting worldwide transactions. it can also offer few earning options for the residents of poor countries.
Good to go. It is better to teach the countries to fish instead of buying them fish. I am sure online has reached every corner. We have already discussed about making all aware of BTC by keeping stores in big cities. This could be a method to spread bit faster. All unemployed would become employed around the world. All sources can be used to advertise BTC. Wish there should be none suffering from poverty.

Smart though this fish thing... People need education, so in this way they can make their life and make the country rise. That's why the rich countries stay rich, they invest on education and well, blockchain is the technology of the future and for sure the poor countries will be the last one to heard about this.

It can surely help poor countries, if some charitable trusts come up and ask for charity in Bitcoins for a bigger cause and wait for a price hike, sell it and protect the lives of many others by compensating food, jobs, cloth, shelter, etc...
But this ain't gonna happen unless steps are taken and everyone gets involved...

YES.

This is bitcoin's primary goal. Africans and Asians pay huge comissinos to use banks, Bitcoin is a workaround to eliminate corruption.

Bitcoin will make poor countries rich.

I think you need to realize the following things.

1- Poor people aren't interested in investments since they need the money that they barely have for things with far higher priority.

2- Poor people aren't interested in a tool that will allow them to transfer money world wide as they need the money that they barely have themselves.

Correct. What will they offer if they got nothing. The brokers wont even talk to them because they knew they have nothing to offer. So it can help the government of one country. Maybe this investment can be something like a reserve for them and somehow it can get huge at some time.

how? what can be done?
I do nit yhink that people in africa can use hitcoin this day. But i am sure they can use it in the future. Bitcoin only can nit help them. I think the bitcoin users can help them by teach them how to earn, invest and use bitcoin. I think it could be work. Shall we try?Huh
While you can always try to get people in Africa using Bitcoin, it doesn't mean that they have the infrastructure or anything to support it. If they don't have access to exchanges, the internet, phones or computers, etc., there is no way that they'll be able to effectively use it.
