yes bitcoin can help the poor people but not a lot. because poor people have very little opportunities of using internet and computer, therefore they find it hard to get benefit from bitcoin.
Yes. Can. Educated men and women who are unemployed, are seeking for careers. Yes. Bitcoin forum made so many unemployed employed. Many experience living a comfortable life with BTC earnings. Men and Women who are willingly wanna learned bitcoin then they can educate fast and they can catch the point if you want them to learn bitcoin can make help them by doing some work and earn money via bitcoin , bitcoin is so much help specially to students like me. This freelancer thing can help the poor but not the poorest... The point about fiat/bitcoin is the rate/hour... In poor countries you will earn a very low minimum wage(fiat), so you can work online for bitcoins and receive a better $/hour because some clients are from a first world and they can pay better for you...
If we know some people who want to volunteer and they are legit enough, we could donate them money (which is easy to do with bitcoin) and make them use it for voluntary actions in the poor countries.
Unfortunately donations rarely go to the really poor people especially in the poor countries where the laws don't work. But Bitcoin can help people from those countries because they can do some jobs online and receive payment in BTC for which you don't have to have a bank account and you don't have to pay big transaction rates like with other currencies. This is especially important when you are payed less than $20 for a job.

i don't trust charities anymore. and yes, i know that's a very sad thing. but time on time again you hear that one of the people in the high board of the charity commit frauds by sending the money to their own bank account, or they give themselves an insanely high salary with a few bonuses. i much rather donate to a local charity than to a well known one. locally you at least can see what happens with your money.

Bitcoin works in most of the cases can only find online so how those people in poor country can have access to that work if even gadgets they doesn't have? You think they will prirotize to have an internet connection and pay for it monthly?
Of course, no. Since they want to spend money just to support their general needs.

I am not sure of Bitcoin is able to help entire countries because that maybe to many people for Bitcoin to handle at once. how? what can be done?
I think that Bitcoin would be better of just helping certain regions but not whole countries.
Yes I think that it can help some poor country's but of course I'm not very sure of it because of the fact that btc is unpredictable.
Technology is not among the priorities of poor countries, so that is already a hindrance. Maybe if the governments can address technological deficiencies in areas where internet and digital literacy are low, then bitcoin can be of help to the people, even those who are living in far flung areas.

Don't know how you are relating bitcoin with unemployment rate. 
But i think bitcoin can create opportunity for some entrepreneurs to start profitable bitcoin/blockchain related projects/platforms or business in poor countries.

I don't know exactly whether bitcoin can help poor country because it's actually the problem of government, how they manage their country such as giving jobs, etc.
There is the possibility to help the poor countries if bitcoin will provide them resources like computers, laptop or android phone to access their system and also internet connection but if not i think it can't not all people can afford to buy gadgets instead they are prefer to buy foods and needs.
But I don't think a bitcoin company is going to do that but that is going to be a good initiative if coinbase or blockchain is going to do that. And for sure that is going to touch other big companies heart to help people who are living in poor countries. Even it is not for bitcoin but just for humanity and to help them gain more knowledge.
It would really needs massive effort money and time when you intend to implement these things because giving out computers and other digital things would be costly, unless if all nations would donate cash to a single spot then it would possible but its not possible on bitcoin related companies.
And it is not good to just provide everything to the needy. It is better if you teach them how to use bitcoin and let them provide for themselves what they need. If you spoon feed them, they will take your help for granted.
