Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

Two billion people do not have access to a bank account. This is a big drawback for economical growth. Bitcoin or solutions based on Bitcoin could solve this. You could also give the hugh amount of developing money from 1st world countries to spread it directly to the people with a blockchain-based solution instead of giving the money to mostly corrupted governments where the money never reaches the actual receivers.

No it can not. I am very doubt bitcoin or any alternative coin can help a poor country in the financial aspect. Bitcoin and alternative coin only is a currency in online as we can said Cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin can help poor countries and also the poor people as there are many of them who don't even have bank accounts, in that case bitcoin can take best care of them.
I do not think it will change the state of a country too big. but I believe bitcoin can improve one's personal life. yeah probably in most countries there is little bitcoin users. I'm sure they will be very helpful because working on bitcoin and maybe help them out of poverty
Yes, that is true . the change will not have an impact on a large scale. however there are some communities who will benefit from doing business bitcoin. they can take advantage of all the features provided by the bitcoin.

Yes definitely bitcoin could help poor countries. I am describing in short.

If people of poor country use bitcointalk then they will definitely make some money (btc) and by selling those btc they will get real money so neither they spend anything or there is waste of their country's currency. Still they managed to earn free money. So indirectly they helped their country.

I assume your are talking about them participating in signature campaigns to earn themselves some bits? What if at some point signature campaigns are not allowed anymore? Can Bitcoin still help these people according to you?
it does not matter if signature campaigns are allowed or not, since his whole argument makes no sense. in his scenario bitcoin is just used as a unit of money. it is exchangeable and not the source of the help. not bitcoin is helping in this case, but bitcointalk or the signature campaign or advertise in general. would this work without bitcoin? yes, so bitcoin is not the source of the help.

Your post does not make any sense towards what I was saying to the other person. Please refrain from quoting me if you have nothing to say.

you are funny. i just told you both that you are discussing a point that is irrelevant to the question of the op. and i included even some prove.
because if bitcointalk signature campaign would be paid in dollars and not bitcoin, then the "help" would be the same. therefore bitcoin is not the help. the help is the signature campaign or advertise if you want to be more general. your point of the possible end of signature campaigns and its consequences is irrelevant, since bitcoin is not the source of help.
if this is to hard for you to understand, it is ok for me. you can ignore me. i am sure someone can help you to find the proper button.

Well, it seems that you are indeed right on this point. I had to read your post more thoroughly before jumping on it. I wasn't fully awake yet I guess. My apologies for that.

Exactly, as I was saying earlier, most of the poor people never even had a credit card. That's why Bitcoin is a good option to get payments for your job in the Internet and not only in the Internet.

How many crazy ideas we have in this topic, its funny to read all this. Its like you say can dollar help poor countries, yes if someone give them couple million billions. Money is money, no matter how you call that money and I don't get how will bitcoin help to 1 billion people, or even more? I presume many of you here thinks that all world will work here in signature campaigns and they will live from it.
Poor countries first need to make better organization, and to unite. After that they can try to something with their beautiful nature. There is a  Chinese saying : Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. But why someone would show them when they can live in ignorance and be slaves to others? ( irony )

I am sure that bitcoin will help the poor country. The most of poor country people are don't have a job. They can earn their resources in bitcoin world by investing bitcoin or do job to earn bitcoin.

i agree bitcoin can help poor countries by giving them an opportunity to earn.  Just for example, I myself had given an opportunity by bitcoin to earn extra by joining a signature campaign.  If I maximize my post in 1 week i can earn around 0.042  BTC, that is enough to pay my monthly electricity and water bill. that is only 1 week if I compute it in 1 month that is  around 0.18 BTC a decent amount in my country.

yes it is really helpful for the poor countries but the people of theses countries are really educated, and they have the internet facilities available there, then bitcoin is helpful for them, because for using bitcoin they must have  good knowledge about computer and internet, and also have some hold on English language.

First, you have to understand something here.
Poor countries, mostly in Africa, first need help in food and medicine for their people in need.
Second, we need to help educate their children.
Third, they need infrastructure for Internet, some of them don't have even electricity.
Only when we solve this main issues, we can talk about how Bitcoin can help them.

Poor countries can help only a stable currency. Bitcoin today this is not. Who would not agree, you can see the currency rate statistics over the past six months. You can make sure in my words.

To the moon! lol

actualy blockchain can help people with smart contracts, for example, you buy a land and this will be always in the chain, no chance to change it...
You know, corrupt governments do whatever they want with the lands and others stuffs...
"to the moon"

I'm thinking these people probably don't know what a smart phone or computer is since they probably don't know what running water is. I doubt smart contracts or buying land is anything they need to worry about. Their big worry is most likely who ate the family dog before thanksgiving.

the only thing that i can see possible be useful for these countries and people in them using bitcoin is charities accepting donations. since sending bitcoin is super cheap compared to sending any other way of sending money, people can make easier and more donations. they can even send a tiny amount because it is possible with bitcoin.
It is hard to as for a donation because many people in online not believing about this life or living.. so i think to help those poor people or poor countries you can give them a miner and teach them to mine bitcoins while they are making bitcoin every month just teach them to manage until they can buy a miner again to increase their monthly revenue. this method should work and it can help poor countries..

Bitcoin can help those countries which mostly have access to the Internet and very low salaries. In my country an average salary is about 150$ (well, it is actually above average). And for such money you have to work for 6-8 hours 5 days per week. Considering this I must say that working for a signature campaign, for example, you can earn nearly a salary and work a lot less than even 6 hours per day.
