True, bitcoin has helped a lot of people change their lives for the better, but it's all gained by hard work, not entirely due to bitcoin, so there needs to be a balance between bitcoin and the usual work we do.

Not at this time, bitcoin is only available for those people that knew the new era of technology. It will be available on  locations that has wifi and computers, phone's and gadjet. What about those people that never saw these environment? These so called high tech. Believe it or not bitcoin needs to spread more capabilities to beat poverty. But as one of the member im looking forward to see these changes.

Bitcoin, and money in general, is a tool.  It cant do anything itself.  World poverty and hunger can only be solved by mankind.

Can bitcoin really do anything to solve world poverty problem? Brian Singer certainly think so. He thinks that Bitcoin can bring minimum everyday earning for people more swiftly than any other economy system.

Is it possible?

Bitcoin is only here to help but not to give promise or be obliged to do something in behalf of every countries obligations.isnt it enough that bitcoin together with all the cryptocurrencies are providing profit for the people?and isnt it abusing to put the burden to the coins because of poverty.no this isnt fare for the crypto currencies

My answer is no, Bitcoin aim is to become the future money in the world. Corruption and unemployment are one of the reasons so many are poor. The government needs to solve the problem.

The short and only answer is no, bitcoin will not help to solve world poverty problem. Why? Because economical systems, regulations and laws are not the problem here. Humans are. People are so corrupt and flawed that they do not care about making this world a better place, they just care about themselves. That is why we will never have world without poverty, wars and terrorism. Bitcoin is nice tool but it is people who will be using it. That is the problem.

I agree, BITCOIN is and asset. So, if bitcoin hodler can't manage and use it for good purpose, bitcoin will not give significant impact to poverty. As far as I know, poverty can't be removed. But maybe only can be reduced.

My hopes like that bitcoin can help everyone improve their lives for the better, but everything should be done with hard work, optimism, looking for opportunities.

Can not,
Because the problem of poverty can not be separated away without any interference from the government and hard work to overcome them. It is good bitcoin to overcome poverty but sometimes many in wrong use by certain person. Thanks
It might end poverty but not world poverty.Maybe it can to a certain person or someone but if you say world poverty I think that will happen when bitcoin are globally legalize.

This will be able to reduce poverty but not eliminate poverty worldwide and many people who already enrich themselves with this bitcoin but not all have the skills and knowledge to learn it instantly and require the process slowly. Cool

many countries still have a poor population but how poverty can be overcome because the presence of bitcoin has not been received and will be more difficult for any bitcoin developer but anything can be done in how we can channel donations and hope those who handle poverty in the country can work together as soon as possible a positive agreement is reached and can overcome world poverty Wink

Yes it is true that prevailing of bitcoins may cause reduction in transaction fees but it is not enough to remove poverty.

Well obviously, it really is easy to know what the answer to that question is when you look at the current events and how people nowadays act towards any other people in regards to their life statuses, like on how people only care when someone is rich, handsome/beautiful, famous, or dead. Clearly, people only do care about themselves and for the people close to them. In fact, some even forget family for the sake of climbing on top. Which is why, most of the people today really care only about progress and improving things only if they can benefit from it. But if not? Well, they obviously do not care. That is why there is poverty. And I cannot say that cryptos is anything different from the economic system in every country. Having said all of these, clearly the answer is a big no.

I hardly think a currency can stop world poverty. Only education and lack of stupidity can do that. The lower IQ brackets are having more kids then they can afford, thus the low IQ. That is the problem. Bitcoin could possibly help give jobs but still poverty no. Perhaps a small amount if people won't be in poverty but it's n solution.

Poverty will remain in future, nobody can't change that at the moment. On the other hand Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies altogether can help poor people to switch their position to better one.
Rich are getting richer and...you know how it goes.

Interesting article that reached to Davos, hopefully some of the rich will change their mind.
