Bitcoin Forum is the best forum for Cryptocurrency where everyone can discuss Crypto but, since they have been running this forum for a long time, I think they should launch their own Coin because it seems that Crypto is slowly becoming popular, so they should. A coin needs to be launched so I will ask the Moderator/Admin of this forum to think about it. (Just My Opinion)

If the forum is to launch a coin what will it be use for ??
As far as I know there are little to nothing that requires members to pay for anything on this forum so what will be the purpose of any proposed coin. Maybe the forum will now be monetize only those who are holders of the coin can participate on similar things, Rank varies base on your coin holdings, it's really better off for the forum to be the way it is making use of only Bitcoin as it's official coins which are mostly used when users want to purchase a copper member account which is even very little. There is really no need for any forum coin.

This forum was created after Bitcoin, which means it's a forum that will handle all Bitcoin-related issues, and as such, the only coins recognized by the forum itself are Bitcoin and MBTC (Milibitcoin). That's why if there is anything to be paid to the forum, like when ADs were paid for, you can only pay with BTC, and the forum doesn't need any other coins because it already has one.

Whenever I see the word "guarantee" in every investment, I always think that it's a scam because that's the word most of the scammers are using.
I'm not saying that Howeycoins is a scam just because they used the word "guarantee", but I'm just pertaining to that word. Smiley
You are right to think that way and Howeycoins was actually a promotional campaign on how scam projects operate. If you tried to make a purchase this is the message you get - https://www.investor.gov/ico-howeycoins

If it looks like a scam and smells like one, it most likely is one.

Funny you should mention it, there already was one, at least unofficially. And it fared about as well as anyone expected it to, which was not well at all. Apparently it was a Proof of Stake coin, which was the popular thing to do at the time. Wonder if anybody is still running it.

Hence, we will be distributing TALK to members of bitcointalk.com which has the most diverse community with people from all over the world. As the new devs, we are implementing a new method of obtaining coins for the AirDrop called "Proof of Participation" (PoP). The following methods are how you can get TALK:

Now what's the use case of that coin OP if you can share what's on your mind?

I mean if you will create a coin, you must know what's the purpose of that coin right? I can't think of any use case of that coin at all. If for some reasons, they will really create a coin, how will it benefit the forum? Who will be the team behind it? Will our administrators have time to manage that coin? You said that you will ask the moderators and admins about it? Well, good luck I guess. Smiley

@theymos launched the official Bitcointalk ICO in 2018. However, you're pretty lucky. It's still running and you can still buy some coins, if you want.

Just check the official announcement thread: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT

If there's a coin named with Bitcointalk regardless who's the creator including theymos, I would stay away because something is wrong about it. theymos have suspend the forum ads banner, so it's obviously there's no financial problem in this forum.

Any coin which created other than Bitcoin is shitcoin and it should be discussed on altcoinstalk.

A coin needs to be launched so I will ask the Moderator/Admin of this forum to think about it.

Actually, the coin was launched back in 2009. It's called Bitcoin, and has been quite successful over the past decade.  Wink

But in all seriousness, why do you think there's a need for a new cryptocurrency specifically for this forum? What problem would it solve that existing cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin don't already solve?

I don't know about it Bitcointalk Owner and Bitcoin owner is the same you have any Source link Brother?

There is no single owner of Bitcoin as it is a decentralized currency that was created by an anonymous person or group using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. The owner of BitcoinTalk forum is a user named "Theymos" who took over the forum from its original creators, Satoshi and Sirius, in 2011. I hope this clarifies any confusion.

Forum will not have its coin or token on blockchain but I knew one idea for Bitcointalk.org collectible coin.

There was attempts to design a forum collectible coin but it has never turned out to be real production.

Bitcointalk.org collectible coin ideas & vote

Do you want something like this?

Bitcointalk 10 Year anniversary coin/token?
So I designed this:

Bitcointalk is now controlled by theymos.
Bitcoin has no owner. Bitcoin isn't like a company which is owned by someone or a group of people. Bitcoin is a trustless and decentralized payment system and no one has control over it.

Satoshi who created bitcoin, created forum.bitcoin.org as a place for discussion about bitcoin. In August 2011, theymos moved the forum from forum.bitcoin.org to bitcointalk.org.

Your question leads us to another question, which is Why people try to create their own coins? , fortunately, there is a topic related to this question Why people try to create their own coins?.
Back to your question it is not the first time someone has brought up this idea

The reason for creating own coin will be to obtain more financial support, and it seems that the forum does not need that now, or at least there are ways in which the forum can get money other than creating a cryptocurrency.

** The strange thing about this topic is that writing style is similar to your writing style.

when launch possible i believe world most popular cryptocurrency make bitcointalk forum own currency.

The Bitcoin Forum is a website meant to host free discussion of Bitcoin and related topics. It is operated mainly as a service to the community, and the vast majority of income after expenses is either saved for future expenses or reinvested into the forum or the community. The forum was started in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, the original creator of Bitcoin. It is now managed by a dedicated team of admins and moderators.

Satoshi created the forum, but Theymos owns it now and is the administrator after Satoshi left the forum and the community, there is also another administrator who is Cyrus.

Bitcointalk, i think we already have a coin, which is BTC. And the forum was created by the person who created BTC, so BTC can be called the forum's coin. If you want the forum to launch a coin, it will be an altcoin, and in a Bitcoin forum, it does not make sense.
