There are so many wallets. Online and offline. Is that now a 100% guarantee that it won't be accessed by any outsider? Certainly not. It makes our btc and other altcoins safe but if hackers really have the intention to siphon off those meager funds of ours, they can. They have done it to the CIA, to the Pentagon, to FBI, with all the confidential files. Hackers are always a threat.
Dunno, we do not know to what extent the ability of a hacker, but maybe it can. I once watched a hacker movie telling me that there is no secure system if it is on the internet, so maybe it can.
I think the best way is to create a offline wallet and put it in a pen drive. This way nobody can access it. The online wallet is too much risky, at least I can't take the risk. I just searched google and there are many cases of wallet got hacked even after high security.
No but you can use social engineering which is kinda like hacking and can be considered hacking but it's hacking without a computer. Basically tricking the target into giving up the credentials you need. Like a phishing site for example. That would probably be your best bet. Unless you not secure and have your key or something on your oc and someone gains access. But then they would have to know you own bitcoins.

It's basically impossible to hack into a wallet without being able to access it in some kind of semi-direct manner, meaning online wallets are technically vulnerable but have a very good network of security systems in place so that it is hard to do something like that. If you have a desktop wallet, it can't be hacked without having access to the computer they're hacking and having that computer online so they can actually conduct the transaction.If you want to be safe keep your Bitcoin in a desktop wallet on an external drive that is only connected to the internet when you're making a transaction and no other times.

Hosted wallet. Desktop wallets (online/offline). Mobile wallets (online/offline). Hardware wallets. Paper wallets.
The hardest ones to hack into is the ones without a path for hackers to reach.

No, thats the good thing about Bitcoin, is that you have security and privacy. 
Of course if you have an online wallet, your password may be stolen somehow, especially if you use same passwords in many sites. Just keep your private keys safe, and don't let anyone have access to it.

if you wanna have a better security, i would recommend to have a multi signature wallet (the address with prefix of 3 instead of 1). in case of possibility of being hacked, they need certainly large amount of computing power which consumes all the possible energy in the Earth as there are more than googol (IIRC) of possible combinations and not all the private key is valid for bitcoin address.
You're the one whose liable of your private key and for me the safest way to prevent those hackers to enter your privacy is turn off your location. More of those attackers were now traveling around the internet network searching for good stuff. Avoid sharing your personal informations like e-mails with those strangers, you might be linked with that which causes you to be more vurnerable of hacks. Strong wallet security keys should be combined and don't let it be transparent to anybody even your closest friend might be the sources of private informations to leak.

Seems like you are theorizing about brute force hack, in which case multi-signature doesn't really matter, because even a single private key can't be hacked in that way. But it's possible that your bitcoin wallet get "stolen" by a specific virus, and your password too with a keylogger, so hackers can get access to your wallet without cracking private keys. There are also viruses that replace Bitcoin addresses on clipboard when you are just about to send coins. So, keeping your PC safe is #1 priority when you are using Bitcoin.

It is possible, 100%. That is if you don't have sufficient security measures. If you adopt good security measures, the chances are next to zero. Bitcoin don't have any vulnerability that allows anyone to guess your private key with a fair amount of computing power.If you want to safeguard yourself, you have to create a cold storage. Multisig won't work at all if all the addresses are generated on the same computer.
