very nice points here. maybe to add: in coutries which have more development to go through, some steps are just skipped. and middleman problem is bigger in some lower developed places, so blockchain might be a solution. i think of usecase like the land register. so there cannot come any dictator and claim it is his brothers land, or at least not so easy..

Now the African society has begun to build their thinking with Blockchain technology,
of course it will make a good development in the country. Changes will occur if their Blockchain technology is applied in the life of their national economy.

Africa is one of the country that is very interested in blockchain or crpto industry, they are the one which has the most number of crypto users, they are also developing as their talents is increasing as they are more in to technology. Let's see how things will go for their country.

Great users are there.. improvement of blockchain will start in africa. because we can see how they really believe that blockchain and crypto are a good part of our daily lives. with their knowledge and support for blockchain and crypto, other country will saw how blockchain be our system that can able to change our current situation of transactions and illegal doings. with transparency of blockchain, evil people can easily find and we can easily see what they are doing. improvement of this system will truly help us.

When most of the part of a continent like Africa is still suffering for their basic needs like food, clothes etc, so it is not a good time to talk about the crypto coins. Even to use the coins they need 24 hours of electricity and data connection. So it is very hard for them to adopt any cryptocurrency.

But rather than the cryptocurrency, we should find out the use of blockchain such that it may help the Africans. The blockchain technology is a great technology and I hope very soon we are going to use it in the daily life. And if we can use it to help fulfilling our basic needs then that will be a great gift to humanity.

Decentralization is a very useful thing, especially in those countries where there is a high level of corruption and inflation. I think that not only Africa can help blockchain, but Africa may be one of the first to try to fundamentally change its amenities and quality of life using blockchain technology. Of course, success will depend on the spread of this idea among the population. Indeed, detailing is not beneficial for the government, because it significantly complicates the management of the population. One way or another, Africa can be a good example for developing countries and countries with already developed economies.
maybe the african country wants to develop economically and its human resources and the government in africa uses the economic system using blockchain and crypto as the currency used and it might be able to encourage the development of the country's economic level i'm sure many countries will follow the breakthrough of the country Africa

The  nature of Africa was decentralization! Africa was unite and great until  colonial masters began to centralize  everything. Now  all the resources is control by the  western world.  Now that the world is changing and  blockchain is bring back  decentralization to the world would Africa get  their  power back?

Corruption is the major problem with Africans, all their leaders are self-centered and does not care about their citizens, they should not blame the western world colonial masters for their problems.

The solution to the African problems can not be solved by blockchain due to the high level of corruption operating there, what exist in papers are always different from the realty.
yeah it's sad to see reality like that. the intentions are good and I am sure blockchain can indeed change Africa but if there are many who commit corruption, changes in any type will have no effect and ultimately will be useless.

Many people talk about the African continent left behind. in my opinion this is a big one because several times the Blockchain convention was held on the continent. and I'm including people who are always updated about the news. This year I read an article about Africa Using the Blockchain to Drive Change: Nigeria and Kenya, Evidence that indeed developments on the continent have also taken place. to be more complete you can read on cointelegraph. I better advice us to talk with facts and data so that it is not the origin of our opinions

There is a reason why new technologies always seem to be adopted the fastest in developed countries than in undeveloped ones and it is simply because their level of infrastructure is higher than the one that you can find in undeveloped countries, there is no doubt Africa could benefit greatly from the use of the blockchain technology since it could lower the level of corruption that you find in the continent, but do you think that politicians want that?
If the people there will create a blockchain project that can make that thing come true then even the politician will be against it then they cannot do anything because people will push that project through. The only thing that they needed to do is to start creating projects that is related to blockchain so they can join the cryptocurrency space and possibly gain support from other countries that will support them to bring the change in their country.

There is nothing to worry about Africa as they are one of the top country who has the most number of Bitcoin users or crypto enthusiasts, they believed well in crypto and they are actually developed some of it. There is also a study that Africa will be one of the homeland for cryptocurrency as the adoption is rapidly increasing. For sure in the coming years, crypto adoption in Africa will be more popular.

Honestly, I think not. Africa isn’t ready yet to accept Blockchain with open arms.

The change should start with the people itself first as we know corruption is a serious issue to be tackled there along with the level of technological advancement which is one pf the fundamental requirement for Blockchain to prosper.

In line with the thought of making the situation severe, I think that blockchain would be abused and be used wrongly rather than for the better.
What do you mean by not being ready?
It is indeed that the corruption in Africa is severe, but I don't think that it will be a hindrance for adopting blockchain technology. If there will be an individual or a group of people that will push through of using blockchain technology, who has enough knowledge and experience using it, proposing to adopt it to their govenment can be possible. Africa is not late on using technology, so I know there are people in the country that has somehow heard or experienced using it.

The change has already began with most of the African countries embracing the idea of crypto. Now, Africa is becoming the next target of crypto market although most of the governments have not announced crypto to be legal, they still remain a neutral grounds for crypto projects to thrive. Crypto merchants in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa etc are offering incredible services which allows citizens to pay TV bills, water bills, school fees mobile phone airtime etc with their cryptocurrency (BTC, LTC, ETH)

The good thing is that till now the African governments haven't taken a hostile stance against the cryptocurrency usage in their jurisdictions, unlike the case with some of the Asian countries such as China and India. But even then, the usage levels remain very low in these nations. A lot of hype is going around cryptocurrency usage in Nigeria, but the trade volumes tell us that the usage is quite low there.

MPesa only happened because the telecoms regulators in Kenya gave the green light. Once they gave permission, the mobile phone networks quickly developed the MPesa network and it works smoothly without the govt having to intervene.

So open-minded governments are the key.

MPesa = Mobile Money which is identical to a cashless society. The MPesa package is very different from the blockchain. If what you mean by change here is poverty alleviation in Africa, in my opinion very little change can occur. Problems in Africa are complex and systematic. Political, military conflicts and ongoing human rights violations have led to very small investment figures in African countries. For human resources, education and health issues can be fixed but conflicts of interest are difficult to resolve in Africa, and systemic poverty caused by other countries' foreign policy towards Africa as part of providing assistance and also loans to Africa.

The growth and adoption of blockchain technology in Africa is indeed very good because it is supported by the small level of trust of the African community and the world community towards banks in Africa and the government does not reject the cryptocurrency but government disclosure and adaptation to blockchain technology is not enough to solve chronic African disease.

In addition to the high corruption in African countries, social inequality is very high, which would make the learning and access of the most deprived population to blockchain technology virtually impossible. The principle of everything for Africa would be the creation and maintenance of effective and progressive social programs for all the population in need.
Adopting bitcoin and altcoin will less of corruption in Africa, every transaction will be clearly if using bitcoin than have use cash money for sending to government institution, Africa will be clearly from corruption if they want adopt bitcoin as legal transaction where for every sending payment always have history of sending and receiving, there are no have reason how to manipulated with transaction sending and receiving payment history.

in my opinion blockchain technology can be applied in any country including in Africa. after aperthaid's politics were abolished the economic and political development of Africa was getting better. decentralized blockchain technology can expand financial access because there are no third parties. and transactions can be done safely, quickly and at low cost. and blockchain can be applied in all fields. so in my opinion it can drive the African economy.

I am not really sure about the position Africa has in the list of countries with advanced technology. But Africa has the equal opportunity like every other country of the world to change its fate with the help of blockchain technology and crypto currencies. Nobody is stopping it from this. People of Africa can invest in bitcoin and improve their financial standard. They can create new thing on the basis of blockchain, totally up to them.
