The most important point is to know when to leave website before it is too late, otherwise, addiction will cause bad consequences sooner or later. Taking help of friends and talking to psychologist may help too, accepting problem is first step to get rid of it.
At the end gambling is a bad habit one has to quit gambling at any cost to save his health and his mental peace. But that is correct change of environment is very effective - we also change place for the break and for the new beginning
who do fail on doing so thats why they do fall off into addiction and then ruining their lives and regret in the end that they shouldnt have done that.

Being an introvert is not enough to assume that an introvert can get an addiction to gambling. Maybe there's no one around him (physically) that is addicted to gambling, or doesn't have any idea in gambling at all, but the internet is huge, where he can see a lot of people who are bragging their achievement in gambling which can trigger his interest towards gambling than can lead to gambling addiction in the long run.

Surprisingly, people who gamble are also the ones who just got exposed due to their curiosity. While an environment may definitely contribute if a person would most likely be exposed to gambling activities, such is not the sole indicator.
Regardless if a person is exposed or not, it is essential they know their limits and discipline. If gambling becomes a habit to them, then it will be slowly integrated into their system, thus forming part of their routine.
Personally, a change of an environment may help an addicted person overcome his addiction. A breath of fresh environment would lessen their influence in going back to their old habits, though this really comes from their self-determination and dedication to combat their addiction.
