Unless we see some sort of worldwide revolution which completely changes the current economic system, bitcoin will never replace fiat currency.

Crypto IS actual money. So your thread title is kind of misleading.

I beleive it is impossible. People need fiat cash to buy drugs and weapons, noone wants to leave traces in the network  Grin
Real money" is subject to change over time, or at least how people commonly define it. Some people argue that the only real money is gold and silver. I see a future in which cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies function side by side and become interchangeable. Possibly there will be a role for both in the future.

In my opinion cryptocurrency can’t make real money disappear. Real money is the primary needs of the people. Real money is the most uses of all than bitcoin. If it will happen we need that all person have an internet and know bitcoin, but is so difficult it’s just 2% of people knows bitcoin.

The advent of bitcoin has also had a significant impact on the current currency landscape, at least as countries are considering how to deal with it. Haha, for us it is a good thing, convenient, there will be no risk of inflation. Security is not bad. At least these two points are enough to attract a lot of users.

State governments push more and more its citizens to spend money by plastic card, bank transactions, not by cash. They just want to control our income. This is a step to totalitarian political regime.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

I think, not yet, people are being attracted to bitcoin because of its huge value when converted to real money, and having said that, I think if there is no real value that can be converted, people wont be as attracted to bitcoin as they are today, most people just wanna have bitcoin to have lots of real money, they dont care about the purpose and use of these cryptocurrencies.

cryptocurrency is increasingly recognized and sought by many people around the world but in my opinion will not be able to replace real money because not everyone uses the internet

This depends on state policy, if there is a state that legalize bitcoin then it does not take long regular money will disappear, but as long as the state is banned bitcoin and only use regular money then anything that happened with bitcoin will not have an impact on regular money.

Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin
Bitcoin is noway near in replacing the fiat cash. What is the total market capitalization of the fiat cash worldwide? I would be surprised if it is less than $25 trillion. And look at the market cap of Bitcoin? It is less than 1/200th of that amount. And even if such a scenario arise, do you really think that the world leaders will allow Bitcoin to replace fiat currency?
No it cannot replace real money because bitcoin is unstable and limited to use of peole in all over the world. And also some government are not agree about that idea, if virtual money is replace real money some government will controlled it.

No it cannot, Everyone in the country is still using fiat and as a trader, I only use bitcoins to boost my earnings monthly because working in the corporate world is very hard. Working on bounty campaigns is much easier and the salary that you will earn is just the same.

I think this is all hide in future,  what future holds nobody knows. Before this,  nobody has ever thought that there will be any thing like bitcoins will going to exist,  but now bitcoin has come and growing so fast.  So there is nothing which can be said that real money will disappear or not.  As with the digitalisation there are chances that soon bitcoin will become the favourite currency of everyone, as it comes with so many benefits and advantages.  But there is also possibilities that bitcoin will nit make it to the future as many countries considered it illegal and many Companies and authorities still nit accept bitcoin as a payment method.

Actually, there is a possibility that the crypto currencies replace the regular money or cash in the future. The thing is in the future a lot of technological innovation will happen and every processes made will be advanced. Using crypto currencies it will be possible.

The Crypto currency has already squeezed out the usual money and in the future its expulsion from the turnover of paper money will only increase. However, to completely replace the usual money, I think, it will not be possible. This requires a completely different technologically advanced society. And then there will remain situations when the use of crypto currency will be impossible due to various factors. In any case, this is impossible in the near future. I know that Sweden and Denmark have taken a course to completely replace conventional money with crypto currency, and intend to do it in the coming years, but I do not think that it will work out in them.
