Well if we consider many possibilities the probability of us living in a world where money is not needed anymore is very high. Here in the philippines a beep card is already blooming to be used as  a mode of payment

I think it cannot replace the real money. For one, any government will not hold anything that they cannot control and bitcoin for that matter is an example. It is a decentralized currency, meaning no one has a direct authority over it.

This is been discussed alot of times,no not possible at all, bitcoins are just based on the real money before it bloom up and make big news around the cryptoworld.Technology and modernization will makerealmoney disappear and make it digital but i think thats not bitcoins Smiley

I'm also feel the same, as we look at the transactions made by the people all around the world it's maximum by cash transactions, digital transactions is less so it's impossible to make real money to disappear.

Yeah i think it can be attainable, i dont wanna be way too optimistic but i consider it can truly happens, but it would get so much time, if paper funds dissapears then everyone should know what bitcoin is, how to use it, etc. And that is anything we dont have correct now, only a handful of % of the population understands what bitcoin is. So just before it takes place, we want more advertising on social media, or in mass media. Without having marketing bitcoin is gonna be for a targeted team of individuals.

The chances of cyrptocurrency replacing fiat money is very low at the moment.  You have to remember, if bitcoin was to replace all money, then all walks of life need to use bitcoin  make payments or use it in a grocery store.  Right now, I would say cryptocurrency is at its infancy stage in replacing fiat currency.  There are many people that would not know how to use bitcoins to make payments and everyday transactions.

Not all countries accept the existence of other bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. Perhaps the development of the times and the technology that can determine this. I prefer fiat and cryptocurrency side by side, cryptocurrency can mask fiat performance deficiencies, and vice versa, and I think, fiat will always be there and will continue to be used.

Maybe if some of the cryptocurrency will be legalized, it might be a way to make cash disappear. We can say that cryptocurrency has advantages and disadvantages being compared to real money. Cryptocurrency is very secure in a way that we need the private key before we can interact with it. We must also verify it thru email accounts before we can access the crypto wallet. While money on the other hand is very dispensable. If people would be knowledgeable about cryptocurrency i guess it can make real money disappear.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
I don't think this will happen because there still basic needs that are solved by fiat currency. However, cryptocurrency will take a lot of functions off from fiat currency for sure.

I think no. It wont happen. Real money can be easily use in the community. Buying some small amount can easily buy it but digital coins cannot be because it cost to much if you will converted it.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
The Uruguayan Central Bank (BCU) officially announced on November 3, 2017 that the digital version of the Uruguay Peso was on the market. In the statement made, the digital version of this peso was careful not to be perceived as a crypto currency like bitcoin. ANTEL, a telecommunication provider operated by the Uruguayan State, will monitor the status of the digital peg on the market with a test to be conducted for 6,000 users with 100,000 telephone users. Uruguay's wishing to participate in the test need to apply to the epeso.com.uy website, register and spend on Red Pagos (a national payment and collection company) to create a Digital Wallet (Cash In).

Crypto-News.net: News from Crypto World
Crypto-currency should strongly push paper money, but no more. She can not, in my opinion, completely replace them. There are many reasons for this. A certain part of people for various reasons simply do not want to use crypto currency and nobody can force them. The other part, due to some of its mental or physical deficiencies, will not be able to use the crypto currency. And finally, there are situations when using the Internet can be impossible or the use of crypto currency in a particular case will be impossible.

One of the back sides of cryptos replacing rel money is internet access that can be really hard even sometimes for good coverage and access point.
Still many not just countries but ordinary people are to rely on money they even dont use credit card so this process can be hard and painful till the end.

The chances are going to be a 100% yes a one hundered percent chance because we the people always wants to love in a more convenient way as possible because we like to be modernize. And replacing the current currency with much better and much easier to use is going to be a digital everything world we do not need to bring a lot of money in us because we can bring our entire money that lives inside our mobile phone devices and we always have that in our palm of our hands and that would be less hassle than bringing so wallets and atm cards.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
I think there is a low chance that cryptocurrencies will make real money disappear. It is because not all people in the world have an idea about digital money. Also, some of the countries in the world ban bitcoin their place. Poor people will have a hard time to understand and use bitcoin because they have no idea about it and they also dont have any device and an internet connection to access digital money.
