No, it is not quite possible because we still need Faint money more than any Bitcoin or even credit cards. the only problem with bitcoin is the transactions fees and a bit of confirmation time. But I guess we can solve the confirmation time problem only thing we need is the lesser block size which can result in lower transaction fees.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
conventional money will not be replaced by Bitcoin, the government will surely refuse to abolish the conventional currency of their respective countries

You know this topic has been discussed in this forum over and over again and i will be answering this question over and over again.

That is very impossible to happen. Cryptocurrency and the real money are very much important to all of us. Money are needed everywhere while crypto can be used but in a limited areas only. We cannot use our BTC without internet.

chances are very small. fiat has advantages in terms of direct payments and real value. digital currency will be useless when there is no internet reach. it is certainly very detrimental. so, the existence of fiat is still very bleached.

Although the chances are very rare that bitcoin will replace fiat, but i think that with increasing demand of bitcoin is in fact making bitcoin more stronger. i think that in such modern time it is very difficult to think about the world without internet, because internet is not only use for bitcoin for a number of other purposes. so we cannot spend a single day without internet. I think that its difficult that bitcoin will replace fiat but will surely reduce the use of fiat currency.

sure, the chance this will happen might be low in the present, but how it will be in the future is all that matters. as it is, bitcoin is gaining momentum, and as time goes on, it only makes sense that bitcoin begins to take its place in becoming a part of society's norms. to be honest, i see bitcoin perfectly filling the archetype of the sci - fi world's currency (galaxy credits, space dollars, you name it), and i can only see it becoming more and more likely to be normalized as the world becomes more technologically advanced. we can't cling to how the world works as is now forever, we must always strive to adapt and evolve.

no, this process will ruin fiat economy and politics will never tolerate power lose.
what if fiat is no longer a viable form of monetary value in the future? sure won't matter then if the system caves in.

I am pretty sure cryptocurrencies will replace fiat in the near future. I dont think it will be BTC or any other decentralized cryptocurrency.
It probably will be a coin "based on blockchain technology" which wont be decentralized and will be in "full control" from governments/financial institutions.
Like russia started to roll out the Crypto Rubel.. i think a lot of countries will follow soon.
I hope they wont see BTC as a threat to them and start banning it everywhere.
not so sure about the near future, the world just isnt at the point where that could easily happen, there are too many barriers to that as it is now.

I think no because everyone needs money or anything that can give that has value to get what you need.
Bitcoin can be used as monetary exchange tool but local money has its own system also. You can't pay a farmer to get his food with Bitcoin, right?

First, banks must disappear in order for bitcoin to make real money disappear which I think is impossible because government itself is backing up central banks. It's true that bitcoin  is accepted in some countries but still they are just co-exists with real money. Imagine your 8 year old son carrying a smartphone to the store to buy a candy, the risk and danger that the phone will be stolen is high, so in small community transactions I think we need real money because the storing of chips and data in cells are not yet reliable enough to be implanted to humans. We have a long way to go. Let's see in 10 years or more on how will these turn out.

Unless the little kid is using a disposable paper wallet instead of a smartphone?

Yes of course it can, cryptocurrencies have a great chance of taking over the real money. As it's really easy and fast to use.Its transaction is really fast and transaction fees is negligible. Our world is slowly turning into a digital world ,eventually every person in this globe will have access to internet. As internet is accessible to all, cryptocurrencies will become popular and take over the place of real money.

I don't think it's possible. The prosperity and development of the financial sector and the, won't appear easily so big change, the birth of the currency can really was a surprise, but we are lucky, because we contact the bitcoin

In my opinion it is possible that cryptocurrency make real money disappear in the sense of changing the way we pay in currency. In the real world we used fiats so basically we need physical currency to buy something we want while in cryptocurrency we only need internet to be connected  and digital currency that is required for a specific platform of payment.

So this will be one of the changes that will occur once we implement the use of crytocurrency. Therefore, real money cannot be easily disappear maybe in the near future when all country decided to adapt altcoins and burn all real money in the world.

It is possible to do this for some of the world population.

For the majority it will not be possible for decades.
There are almost a billion illiterate and another billion living under the poverty line with no real hope of ever having a computer or a smartphone. Those are in need of food an water not cryptos.

And asking them to pay 10 cents for a transaction while their income is below 1.5$ a day is idiotic at best.

i think we have a small chance to lives in the world without actual money  because cryptocurrency is depends on internet conection and i think government cant approve that because of many bad side effects like untraceable transaction...

It will be difficult to do away with fiat currency and replace it with fiat currency completely because not everyone knows the internet,so if cryptocurrency comes into play it will be a  great disaster to all illiterate ,note not everyone is educated and even the educated ones find it difficult to understand the internet business. So it will be better the two are in play or in use.

No this cannot happen in the near future.Fiat money is used by all of the people of the world. The illiterate has not even heard about what is cryptocurrency. All he knows is that he has his living through fiat money or cash.Although government is trying to implement digital form of money but this will take a lot of time to be fully executed. There can also be a strong possibility that government can adopt blockchain technology and we might see blockchain version of fiat currencies.

I know cryptocurrencies have come a long way since they had started. During the course of progress they have really gained immense popularity and usage not only among the young generation, but also the middle aged generations and it’s evident that cryptocurrencies have many benefits. But still all things said, I don’t think that cryptocurrencies can replace the real money because
Firstly, real money is way too much popular and in usage than bitcoin in the current times.
Secondly, bitcoin requires internet and still there are many places in he world where electricity is not available and internet is just a dream.
So These are the short comings for bitcoin because of which real money takes over it.

The BISTOX exchange - OWN WHAT YOU TRADE
To do this, it is necessary that all people on the planet know how to handle a computer and the Internet. But most of the world's population does not have this opportunity. They are old people, poor people, people living in the area without the Internet and other categories of the population. Perhaps in the future there will be a complete replacement of conventional money by crypto currency, but this is not expected in the near future.

Cryptocurrencies cannot replace real money. As you can see if this things will push to our government there will be a lot of discussions and arguments as well. And I'm sure at the end of this it will be a no. It is very difficult for now to change what we do or use as of now.
