There are different opinions as to whether the crypto currency can make ordinary paper money disappear. Sweden and Denmark have already announced that in a few years they are going to completely switch to the use of digital currencies. In technologically advanced countries, it can and is possible. However, I doubt it. It will take, probably, more than one generation, before the person will be ready to pass completely on calculations in crypto currency.

I think no chance to live without fiat money at least for many decades. Bitcoin is useless when you have no electricity or no internet.
After the previous news can make the bank disappear so if bitcoin continues to be used and massive will make regular money replaceable, of course people will not be interested in using regular money because bitcoin better everything.
I think in near future it will not happend, (i am talking about 10-20 years).however it more than possible even now in China you can met homless person who asked money via qr code transfering.

It can't, because not all people use internet or smartphone. Still 70% people in the world don't have access to internet, so it is simply impossible. But in near future may be in next 25 years, we might see real money will start to disappear and bitcoin take over as world currency.
Cryptocurrency IS real money, that's a first important thing that we should state and agree upon. I understand the question is about fiat. So, can it make fiat disappear? No, because fiat is something we associate with countries and their individuality. Not all countries support globalism and not everybody will agree to have a common currency. Just look at the EU. Some countries have accepted the Euro and some, like GB did not and prefer their own. It will be the same with BTC.
Not truly Bitcoins or other Crypto can chage our fiat income. there's a lot of discussions, argument and perhaps a war prior to Crypto set up as a new currency. We need to have a lot more Substantial Technological innovation or possibly crypto will be our cash in Technologies Robotic Era.

I don't think that cryptocurrenc will widely used all over the world especially for those countries that immediately ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because they think that cryptocurrencies maybe a kind of threat to their countries. But for some countries that immediately allow to used bitcoin they will benefit them much. I think government will not allow to dissapear fiat currency in their country because they have control on it. If they allow it, no taxes will come to them. So it's impossible to dissapear fiat currency. But let's see what happened in the near future.
In my opinion, cryptocurrency like bitcoin can not make real money (fiat) disappear. Government can make/adjust fiat policy to support economic development. Crypto currency is like a supplemental to fiat in a way like foreign currency, precious metals such as gold and silver.
I would say definitely possible but I probably wouldn't see that in my lifetime. Human being hate change or adapting the most so having to convert fiat usage to digital currency might takes a few generations but that is for sure the future that we all are moving forward to.
My vision is none different than yours in this matter. I also think that digital currencies are going to replace fiat one day in far future and bitcoin will be very expensive at that time. The coming generations will do all their works by digital technologies for sure. That will be a total different world like shown in the movie "Big Hero 6". AI will be also mainstream then. NO it will not happen

Yes agree, of course the government will continue to control the state financial circulation so as to ensure there is no chaos of economic problems, although bitcoin is legalized but it will not make real money disappear...
There is no chance that government backed money will disappear. They simply have too much institutional support that bitcoin cannot match.

Yes I agree with you there is a possibility that digital currency disappear real money I think in this modern technology everything is possible and bitcoin already make a thousand of his users around the world because bitcoin has provided a lot of facilities to the people and the most important thing is bitcoin has a high price which is more attractive to the people.

Personally I think that cryptocurrencies and fiat are made for each other, no one can replace the other. They have the best use when both of them are available, I think cryptocurrencies more as internet money and I think it should be like that, the illiterate people cannot understand what is crypto and how does it work, they don't know how to use a mobile, so how would they use cryptocurrencies, paper money is for all, government also think first about illiterate also that how would they be able to transact.

I do not think that cryptocurrency can make real money that we always use every day dissappear it's really imposibble. Mostly people around the world use this money to transaction every day. Maybe this is just for cryptousers can make real money dissappear in his life

It will not happen at least in our lifespan. It would take many things to make this happen.
I do not consider that crypto forex will make fiat disappear, at least today simply because most people and governments nonetheless using fiat as major currencies. But in the foreseeable future every thing is achievable.

I agree with you there can be some countries who will never allow bitcoin to replace their money but I think some of third world countries can accept bitcoin officially in their countries because bitcoin price is much more high in their country through bitcoin they can provide a good education to their children and also they can buy a good food and even they can start their business mean bitcoin can play a big role in their economy. every country government has to audit and to circulate those money to know the rise of a certain country
