The important thing is that people accept other means as payment, so that the fiat, if it disappears, at least the coins and physical notes we know.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
We are witnessing the change in this decade , people are switching to use internet. Like we now buy clothes , computer accessories and even groceries now online . We can buy anything online nowadays.
If the rate of people getting into tech would  continue to increase then it it sure that people would one day prefer crypto currency on fiats .
But this would take a lot of time like atleast 1 decade . To make everyone educated enough to use smartphones to operate their wallets.
The users of crypto are increasing day by day and so is their acceptance across the globe .

I think this is possible to happen since many crypto currencies are introduce in the market and it seems like people starting to adopt the market of bitcoin and other cryptos. If this will be happen in the future it would be more easier for us to transact even in the foreign land and the good thing is it is more cheaper and more convenient to use.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Physical money could dissappear whether or not Cryptocurrency is available . There is already an agenda to make the World cashless for them to have tighter control of  the World and track everyone properly.

No. Bitcoin will be like gold. Good as an investment decision. As well numerous individuals prefer paper cash. Some even do not have a bank account ...

Low. I think personally that cryptocurrencies wont make FIAT useless, but I think that cryptocurrencies will work hand-in-hand with FIAT money. Especially in countries like the United States, and the other first-world countries; I don't see FIAT going anywhere soon.

I agree with this guy is saying. Fiat and digital currency could work along together, but in cases where our world is beginning its era to s modern and more computerized and hitech, I bet digital currencies will have its weigh more on the top.

This Is Promissing Project
actually life without money many differences of opinion between us, in my opinion, if life without money we will be a little trouble, difficulty to get our daily needs, but do not spend life just to make money, make money as a facility to reach ridho god, with worshiping god. That way life will be a blessing and we will live in peace. Because eternal life is only God's side later in the hereafter.

Real money will not disappear just because of the cryptocurrencies because in fact
they will merge and they will become together for our world to have a better financial system which makes almost all the transactions faster and more effective than before and that is why cryptocurrencies and real money will still exist and not of them will disappear.

This has been a question that finds its way to the surface every few days since ... the beginning.
Yes it CAN replace it but it won't replace fiat In our lifetime. Not completely anyway.  That's my prediction.
I would like to think of all the sweet Little old ladies with shoeboxes full of cash.  They aren't giving up without s heck of a fight.  😃

Though Bitcoin is a very promising commodity, still I think it cannot replace the real money. For one, any government will not hold anything that they cannot control and bitcoin for that matter is an example. It is a decentralized currency, meaning no one has a direct authority over it.
Real money is still real money. And i dont think a lot of normal people know about it. And both real world currency and the cryptocurrency are not going to be disappear from the world. All of them are going to play their role into this. And they are going to affect each other. But the crypto and private nature of the currency is going to make it harder for some currencies.

I doubt it can, cryptocurrency would give government a hard time to regulate. So, I guess the government wouldn't allow it. Maybe if technology would advance farther, the government would have the power to regulate cryptocurrency, that would be the only way they would allow it.

The governments can allow crypto to co-exist with real money or fiat, but replacing it or disappearing it completely is no doubt impossible. And in most countries it will be used a transaction medium rather than a primary currency of that particular country.

Nope can't see a world without cash. Especially since cryptos are in such a early state right now.

I cannot say it may or it may not make the Fiats disappear, but it is 'possible'. And I would also say that in a positive way it will eventually, since the technology to date is quite impressive and mostly we are not relying on the Fiat that much, I mean physically, we already use credit cards and it is already considered as Digital Money. So we are already making our way there, its just that some countries still don't adapt this kind of transaction.

In my opinion, the crypto currency will never make the ordinary currency disappear. In any case, in this century. The need for the existing paper currency will almost always be. To normal currency has disappeared, it is necessary that our society had very high technologies and, probably, united in a single super-state according to the type of the European Union.

Crypto currency can make normal cash vanish only if it can be employed without having the World wide web and it will be controlled by the state. Otherwise it will only be an additinaloforex.

for me , the blockchain that being used on cryptocurrency will be the future technology of economy on any countries. I mean the fiat/real money mostly don't have backed by physical commodity (based on this sites : http://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/fiatmoney.asp ) . Consequently, it's still possible real money in the future might not be used for a main currency and replaced with digital currency (it will be cryptocurrency or maybe not).
If in future, the government want to have a currency uses Blockchain technology, they do not need to use Bitcoin, because Bitcoin can not manage by them. Bitcoin is currency for freedom, it not useful with the policies finance of the government.
yeah bitcoin will still be a bitcoin, the countries might still use their own digital currency.

Everything depends on the user, if the user cryptocurrency is increasing certainly can make real money disappear (need a long time), this is the reasons why many countries feared and banned cryptocurrency.
