The chances for the money to disappear is very low, why? First of all the government will not allow their country to lost the fiat since in fiat they can earn here taxes in order to make the country grow.

Second thing is that using bitcoin is complicated you need to have internet, wallet etc. that some people can't even afford and remember not all people are fit in crpyotcurrency since not all people are techie or knows technology or how does it work unlike money which you don't need internet, wallet etc in order to have it.

NO it will not happen
every country government has to audit and to circulate those money to know the rise of a certain country
bitcoin is hard to have a tax and bitcoin is hard to audit because of blockchain technology and the ability to go around the world
basically Yes! we are at the age of digital era, an era of which humans rely on digital technology because the whole world is now digitally inter connected..so not far that every individual has its own card for all the transaction. no need for real money..time comes that even a little store "sari.sari store" of what we calls here in phils. has its own barcode reader or any digital reader for digital currency or the cryptocurrency.

Yes there is a possibility that cryptocurrency can make real money disappear.. as the world is fast changing into a digital era for the past decades, imagine what happen for the coming 50 years..it will soon come that all monetary transaction is done through a single chip that carries the identity of a bearer..no more hussle of carrying   a real money..humans are has its own unique intellect that change the world so fast..just imagine digital technology is fast changing  since it start 20 years ago.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
That is really possible, actually some people make transactions without actual money but using credit card. Now,  it's time for cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Many countries were regulate the use of bitcoin. we only need hardware,  software and internet connection to use bitcoin.  I think everyone will have smartphone in the future,  so just wait until that time is come.

I agree, Bitcoin will absolutely not make real money (fiat money is the correct term) dissapear. Aside from his argument, fiat currencies are being determined and valued through the performance of the economy of the country. Now if we replace that with a single digital currency, the rates will be then more volatile as it is affected by all the economies of all countries in the world.

In simple words, it will not because basically it will just be very complicated to the economy.

Brave New World
Doubt it. Governments and Banks like the control over their fiat, but i can see fiat and cryptocurrencies coexisting as two big behemoths along side one another.

One gaining value, the other losing value. I think a lot would perhaps be jumping to the former and it's likely be pretty easy to do so at that time in the future.

In my opinion, No. It's a big no. Regular currency or fiat is used by all people through decades. Cryptocurrency which don't have a physical value and stable market value can nit replace currencies with physical and stable value. Also, Both thing should co-exist since we are using fiat to Buy Bitcoin aside from earning it in campaigns.

It is obvious that the cryptocurrency made big changes in many people's life all around the world, but it is hard to think that the disappearance of the real money. I think, despite the rising of the cryptocurrencies' using, the people will always continue to use an amount paper money.

Maybe yes if the country will have the full adaptation of bitcoin maybe their real money will disappear. The only problem is that if the crypto currencies specially bitcoin can support the growing demand becaus e of limited supply it can run out and may not support the needs of people

I don't think that cryptocurrencies can make real money disappear. These cryptocurrencies like bitcoin depend its value on real money. We cannot say its value is high or low without a reference. We can say it has a value today because its price in dollars is very high for now. It is simple logic.

Digital currencies today can not make real money by themselves, but digital currencies can become tangible by way of trading.
Currently the chances of living without real money are very small, unless you live in the forest and all the necessities of life can look in the forest.
At the end of the day, digital currencies requires to be compared to physical money to get a feel of what it is worth and its conversion to real money becomes inevitable to meet up certain needs. Put in another way, cryptocurrencies were not created to make real money go extinct, rather the real idea behind their creation is to end up getting a better combination of the two.

The answers to such questions simply depend upon the time gap, like cryptocurrency in 10 years, 20 years and so on. Answer to this question will change with time like, in 10 years there is no chance that it can replace actual money because the world is still dominated by the paper currency and huge amount of transaction take place every day. But if we talk about this question in next 50 years, then Yes it can probably replace actual money because of the factors like decreasing in the number of trees is becoming a serious issue across the globe now, government might not afford more wastage of papers, second the power of cryptocurrency is being realized by the government across the globe due to which they are launching their own cryptocurrency and lastly the transaction of paper currency cannot be noted down everywhere but transactions with cryptocurrency will definitely have a record.

There's no chance of it happening in the real world. Maybe crypto currency and money both work together in future but now it seems sort of impossible. We can say opposite that money Can disappear crypto currency ,Because not everyone aware about bitcoins neither crypto currency. Most of people use money because its safe and fast way and well known everywhere.

Maybe in the future if bitcoin will be legalized in all countries around the world. But pros and cons will always be there too.
Just think of those people who are not techie especially the oldies. Maybe they could not buy what they want if they go to a store alone without a techie companion.

It is important to have actual money in a way that relates to economics. We can't say it impossible living without centralized money.
Bitcoin can never replace actual currency until it has a physical shape with worlwide acceptance.
Even if bitcoin gets $10,000 value, it still needs to be appear physically to impact actual currency.
