I don't think that cryptocurrency is going to replace fiat currency, but more and more people are getting involved with it, as it is very easy to use you can send and receive payment from all over the world in minutes which is not possible with fiat currency.

This is very likely to be realized in the future, but I think it may take 5 to 10 years, because the current cryptocurrency still has many hidden dangers and cumbersome operations!

I think that in 10 years, 30 percent of all purchases will occur in cryptocurrency, and after 15 years already 50 percent.  Over time, it will become more convenient and safer than using fiat money.

This is impossible, the odds are 0! Be aware that traditional currencies are very powerful. If the cryptocurrency replaces the traditional currency, the price of the bitcoin will become hundreds of millions of dollars. This is impossible.

Majority of the post says it's hard to replace fiat with cryptocurrency and why would we want this to happen, when there are folks in some part of the world that are more into fiat and we must admit there is a government that is against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, we cannot please everybody.

It is a hard question.

In 20 years it is not possible. But afterwards i can't say anything.

But i know one thing for sure, it will create a different option. Like you can pay fiat or crypto kind of a way.

For the next 50 years, of course not, the government will do everything to protect fiat so that the presence of crypto will never replace fiat, moreover the condition of crypto supporters cannot be fulfilled.

I don't think that cryptocurrency will replace fiat currency in future. Cause we can't think our daily life without fiat money.

I agree I can't imagine buying a sachet of shampoo I will have to log in to my computer and what if the connection and transaction are slow and clog, we need fiat in our daily lives, we can use cryptocurrency on our online transactions and transfer of money from other countries.

In my mind it simply does not seem to replace the fiat currency because the transition to the community is serious, especially if no one knows cryptocurrency the easiest thing to do is to approve the cryptocurrency that legalize and can even use any transaction.

This will not allow the state to do. Or they will follow the cryptocurrency turnover very closely. In any case, while this is not possible. Let's see what will happen in 10 years.

Cryptocurrency can work side by side with fiat currency but can't replace it. And their are many reason behind this.
Cryptocurrency is not legalized everywhere. In many country it is still ban. Because of this it can't call an global currency. Another reason is its volatile. Because if volatile nature its price fluctuate time to time and because of this many people lose their trust on it. Cryptocurrency is an digital currency so in order to use it Internet connection must required but their are many place present where electricity does not present and in those place fiat currency is one of the options in those place.
yes, I agree that bitcoin will not be able to replace fiat money, the main reason, in my opinion, is that its value is very unstable and it is very troublesome for people. in my opinion Bitcoin is still suitable for investment places until whenever.

In theory cryptocurrencies could replace fiat money but in order to be a viable medium of exchange the market would have to be much more stable.
Most likely, it will not replace, because Fiat has a lot of currency, and just because it will not disappear, we need a very weighty reason

Nothing has been able to replace fiat for millennium and I don't thing crypto can do it either..  Money is not just something that can be anything. It must be generally acceptable as a means of exchange and settlement of debt. Now I don't think crypto will be generally acceptable soon or ever..

I think it can be. I am sure of that. In 20 30 years i believe everycountry will start to use their own currency or they will use one main currency in their economical systems. That will be great. We can track everything or maybe we can not Cheesy . If they will add their currency privacy option That will be bad but i am sure in the future all the economy start to use blockchain systems.

if the question can or not, I think, the answer is yes of course you can.
because obviously between fiat and crypo have the same function, namely to transact and also invest.
because the history of the creation of bitcoin is to replace fiat, even though it is only limited to commodity, but slowly with various breakthroughs from the increasingly evolving blockchain technology system and the high level of interest, it can happen.

It all depends on the state and society. But I believe that cryptocurrency will never replace real money. Maybe she can become an alternative for real money.

No one tells you that this will happen quickly, but no one knows what will happen in ten or twenty years from now. Perhaps then there will be completely different conditions.
