May be or may be not..eth is a good coin after bitcoin but it will never compete to bitcoin. Is price are high and all over the world people are used eth. But it will be never take place of btc.
I think it could happen but considering there is bitcoin that occupy the top position. ethereum will be difficult to match bitcoin, the future may happen ethereum tops with fantastic fans and investors who use ethereum.

I think if more and more ICO's use erc-20 tokens from the ETH blockchain that could very well be possible.

Bitcoin and etherium will be good competitor. Ethereum will be may one on the top of cryptocurrencies but it can not reach of being top 1 among the crypto coins. Always remember that bitcoin is always on top among the cryptocurrency because it is the most pioneer in crypto. So as long as its exist then its in the first rank.
Ethereum is already at where it is supposed to be. No more further and no moving backwards. People tend to think that ethereum is competing fiercely with bitcoin, but i think ethereum is second because it has an advantage over all the other altcoins. Bitcoin has already layed a stronger foundation and it will be difficult for ethereum to overtake it.
But have you ever think about the contribution that ETH did? I think of it as a top 1 crypto, cause everything we see now on forum, 90% ICO and etc exists because of ETH.

Ethereum is on a great run but we should still be careful about it. Bitcoin is not in a good condition it is also true yet again it’s not going to continue like this forever. Therefore ethereum can not reach the top any time soon.

The fact is that the etherium has more prospects than Bitcoin. Therefore, the second place can be temporary. Today, the whole market depends on Bitcoin and probably this situation will change soon.

i don't think so, we all know that ethereum have a potential, but i guess when it comes to the top coins? it is impossible, ethereum need to work and to improve in many aspects. at some point maybe ethereum can beat the other coins when it comes to value but when it comes to over all coins, it has a space but not at the top. Yes it can all go away to top buy i can really say that thr ethereum can beat bitcoin buy being top to the other altcoins as well and also i do believe it own capability all we can i wait for it
