I am not sure really , gambling mostly considered as bad thing overall.
You might get a little lesson (if you a positivist) i mean when you always thinking about positive things on anything.
It might give you a patience learning and how to become a disciplined person.

Personally I never lost large sums in Gambling. And I have acquaintances that lost cars in Gambling, for them it certainly is a lesson for life.

Yes gambling can give us lessons in life and to realize that gambling is not that good for us to rely on it since lots of gamblers are already wreck there lives because of it, Example you've been greed on one gambling site the excitement you feel the more emotion you will be put in there until you lose your full control on betting and lose everything and now you will start blaming your self what have you done. And come to think that gambling isn't really for you and you will be careful on your next bet.

Yes of course. Gambling can give you many lessons. Losing or winning can give you positive and negative lessons. When losing money you can learn what it feels like and you can learn how important money is. You can learn that in gambling it is easy to lose money but it is hard to gain it. It can also gave you emotional stress. And also you can’t get hold of time when you are gambling so you forget about your family waiting for you until they left you, so gambling can also give you lessons to value your family.

Yeah maybe it can give someone a lesson when he really got addicted to gambling ang he almost lose all his life savings and his family. This is the reality and this is like a wake up call to him that gambling is no good for him. Addiction in gambling can lead to a total devastation into someone's life if they can't control it.

if gambling itself be the reason why you have to leave it then why you did it anyway?

that was not the lesson you can get. in real life when you are a regular gambler you will know that patience are the key to become success. don't get rushed on making any decision and be cool . for me that is the general lesson for everybody .

There are no skill that will be useful for us. I only see gambling as entertainment not really something that could give me affordable lesson. I can manage my own life with this but as long as I see gambling as part of entertainment then I will not even ruining myself if I keep playing. Eventhough I dont get any life lesson at all

There's plenty of it, you'll not be good in numbers but on analyzing things also, since it's too risky and if you are successful in managing the risk that means you have already learned a lot that you can apply in your life. Though we lose most of the time but just stick to the life's lesson, forget the loses and take the fun and the lessons it gives.

Gambling taught me nothing but only that I cant hope to be rich from gambling, that is the only life lesson that I got. I dont know how it taught you not to be greedy but when we gamble, most of us are greedy. It is hard to control ourselves when we gamble that is why I choose not to gamble for profit but only for fun

I think a simple and obvious message shining at the doors that whatever you get without work it will go as easy as it came. It is all like "Easy come, easy go" matter. If you want to get something permanent for a time, earn it with work, make some sweat out of body. Things that come easily go more easily.

I am also having same view that gambling can actually improve our control in a very effective way. It can mature us in time but the condition is you are willing to see through the reality. Once someone has come over his greed, he will be more calm and patient. He can make more efficient plans and pierce through different matters of life. You can also learn different natures of people.

Some people doesn't realized immidiately that they've already learn from that situation. But some other people don't think of that way, they just see that situation that they are already a loser which is not, the moment that they've stop immediately from gambling is a good way from them to start over.

I think Yes, there are many gamblers who has lost huge money in the gambling and which gave them lifetime lesson. As per me, if the people can not afford to loose the money then they should strictly stay away from the gambling as its not for them.
