The only lesson that I get is when I lose everything. That is the only lesson that I get for being greedy. That teach me alot of thing as well , It teach me not to spend something that might be important in the future. I got around 3 btc when the price was around $300 or so then I lose everything. Few weeks after that, I need to use it for something else which is really important on that time

That's devastating that she lost almost everything she had and good thing that she had a brother(your father) that is willing to assist her. To whom you are telling brother, he is saying his father friend, not his father sister. Any how the matter is same if we addicted to gambling this is our end. We will lose everything in our life. Money, family, friends and some people leave their lives. I guess due to the enjoyment some gamblers really forget about the value of money most of them are eager to see their pick wins and even that they already have enough earnings they tend to continue playing looking for more risk and trying to make it larger, that's the problem that can also be a lesson that its better to quit while you have your bankroll still whole with small earnings than stop because everything is already been burned out.

Kinda feel sorry for that type of persons that needs to lost everything first before realizing the real deal. Those types of person really eaten by the system of gambling. Other persons will just loss lots of money before they can realized that something bad is happening right now and need it to be stopeed but some other persons needs to experience lots of precious loss including famility bonds and important properties before waking up on a situation.

Well that is way better compare to other persons that ended their journey to this lovely world because of frustration.

obviously everything can give you lessons in life if you willing to take lessons from it. Gambling is not just luck or math it is totally dependent on your self control over your greediness. To be a good gambler you have to know when you have to stop .This one is a good enough lesson for the life also I think.

it is more than that , more than just make you learn how to control your emotion.

as even in normal life , emotion and greedy always there. just the matter how often your greedy come up? while in gambling it is everyday , as long as you gamble in regular basis , at some point your greedy always have a role to make decision. the lesson are about how you should have a preparation and a second option.

Since when I'm learned a gambling, many lessons I got that really base in my life. Gambling is like a obstacles in our life, if you easy to give up you can't win or be successful. In gambling, needs a self confident, you need to trust your own decisions not to the others. Be patient and focus in what do.

Lesson only if you are failing in gambling but there are some positive lessons that you can learn in gambling even if you lose or win.
