Loneliness can make people to become addicted to anything that will distract their minds from the cause of their being lonely, there's a whole lot of addictions, alcohol and smoking, pornography, drug, womanizing and a whole lot including gambling. They'll initially engage in this acts as a temporary measure to get over their lose, and as time goes on they'll unintentionally become fully involved and eventually addiction will kick in, and it'll be difficult for them to leave it. Even if they finally overcome the addiction it's likely that they'll find another recreation to engage in to overcome the void that the addiction that they left will cause, in the end it'll be going into another addiction to get over an addiction. So it's best for anyone that is going through loneliness to be strong and disciplined, even if they most engage in gambling or any other activities to get over the pains of loneliness, they most tell themselves that it is temporary and bounce back as soon as possible.
A friend of mine only borrows money from other friends and deposits it into gambling and quickly repays the loaned money with gambling profits.  He has been gambling like this for a long time.  When asked he says his gambling is good and he enjoys gambling.  Gradually his gambling only increased.  So I think that Loneline actually increases the tendency to gamble and makes gambling more addictive. Because then they plan to win gambling and pay back the money they took from their friends quickly.  But they never think of losing side
This may not be a case of loneliness but it is definitely a bad habit. If you don't see what your friend is doing as gambling addiction, then you have to revisit the definition of gambling addiction because this is a clear case of it. Borrowing morning to gamble is the fastest way of accumulating debt because the bookies will ensure you never win to repay those loans. You might win a few times but they will always get back all the money. I have been in such situation before and I can tell you for a fact that it is not a place to be. You will hardly win even though you gamble with the same strategy you have been using before that have been working.
On the time that you would really be losing control on everything which it isnt really just that limited to gambling but also in other things as well on where on the time that you do lose control and moderation then this is why it would really be that best that you should really be that having that kind of control so that you wont really be that ending up on bad situation. Loneliness could really be that a trigger into someones addiction specially if you do already have that kind of behavior on which you should really be trying to get rid of this if you dont really like for this thing to happen into you.
Once addiction would really be able to shackle you out then it would really be that hard for you to come out. This is why it would be always best that you should really know on what to do.

Your friend is a very lucky gambler, most of the time gamblers that borrowed money to play don't make anything profitable from gambling. The fact that they lost all their money into gambling and has nothing left and think of an idea to gamble with borrowed money, they will definitely lost that one as well except for rare cases when a gambler doesn't have any money on them and they want to toss a coin to try luck from gambling to get one or two change but most of the time they do lost their games.

If you have a friend that gamble and clearly come to you with the intention of gambling and asks you for money, don't borrow them if you have the intention of collecting it back and if you wish to give them without collecting it back, then you can give them. They hardly pay back, I don't even know why a serious-minded person will think of borrowing money and then go and gamble.
To some extent m,  I see anyone who borrows to gamble with as people that lack the expected financial frame of mi d to be callegamblerrs and no matter what the result is that your friend releases and habit of always paying back his loans,  this makes it appropriate to say that,  he is no really making enough profits from his gambling activities,  and also since he has to borrow to take the next bet make it irresponsible.

One of the things that gives a gambler a stable state of mind is in his ability to have consistent financial management and enough liquidity to gamble with at all time.
It is really indeed suicide if you do get up some loans just for you to gamble on which there's no way that you could really be able to assess basing up on the actions you had made whether its really that good or really that bad. People do usually lost up into their senses on which they cant really be able to assess on things which are really that obvious that it is really that dangerous.
Being lonely then this is also what makes you trigger on finding ways on how you would really be able to ease up that condition on which it is really just that normal for a
human being on doing such thing. This is why we would really be that considering on dealing up with gambling but of course it would be depending whether you are a gambler or not
because we know that there are other things on which you can deal off with.
Borrowing money for gambling scares me. This is a dangerous step toward financial catastrophe. Understand that gambling is a game of chance, not a reliable income. Gambling with borrowed money endangers your mental health and future.

Gambling is a momentary fix that often makes loneliness worse, not a cure. Socializing, therapy, and trying new interests are healthy methods to cope with loneliness.

Gamble responsibly. Budget time and money carefully. Gamble just what you can afford to lose. Gambling should be fun, not a tool to solve problems. Get treatment promptly if you cant control your gambling. Addressing gambling addiction early can prevent major problems.

Why do you think drinking and smoking could be easily triggered by loneliness and not gambling? Gambling could be triggered same way drinking and smoking could be triggered when someone immediately loses his spouse and becomes lonely overnight.
Even someone that has not gambled before could pick up the habit when lonely. And with no significant other to talk some sense into him, he could go over board with his gambling activities. I think someone could easily pick up the habit of gambling as one could pick up smoking or drinking when one suddenly finds himself lonely.

I am talking from experience I mean to what has happened to me and I didn't turn into gambling addicts rather was propelled to go drink, I tried all I could do control this but couldn't that was when my fiance left me and it happens that I so much love and cherished here. She was too dear to me and she go just like that even when guy experienced same thing he just turned out to be a drunker why didn't he go into gambling?
The major point here is already such person had gambling in mind or is already an addicted gambler so his condition just makes it worst instead of controlling himself. Okay let say if someone is lonely where else do they go to make themselves happy, is it not party and during partying you got drunk and go back home so why gambling?

There is no connection between loneliness and gambling except that person is already a gambler then he can utilized the opportunity of being lone to start gambling more or making some random deposit to his account to constantly keep gambling. Sometimes is from mindset what you think of is what mostly come into mind, and I don't see any reason why someone wife will leave him and he turns himself into gambling addiction instead of becoming a drunker or smoker because these two things are easily being triggered by loneliness and not becoming an addicted gambler.

Yes, completely in agreement with what you say, the fact that a person regrets what they lose, what they let happen, is not a valid option, we as people are in any type of event or in a betting house and casino we could see different ways of dealing with things, firstly when we are in a casino we can make a difference, some who play are very lucky and play only 1 or 2 minutes and have great profits, perhaps because they took a risk and yes, they could do it well, but If not, then things go to another type of system, because there are some players who don't have much luck and usually lose a lot of money, some of them follow the people who introduced them to games of chance, casinos, everything has to do with this, and since that is not the solution, things must be faced as they are, with responsibility and assuming mistakes, one should never look for blame or say that it was the action of another person, much less complain, if Complaining about situations makes things get fixed and solved, well, I think there would be many people complaining.

In a casino things always have to be done well to prevent unfavorable things from happening, in this order of ideas we must be responsible people, with the casino, with the money we are putting in the casino and with anything that has to do with it. to do with generating more money whether by winning or losing, 'because even winning we must be responsible people, so guaranteeing that we are mentally good people to accept our own decisions is what makes us different from others, because others do not care. Sometimes many things matter, but the moment we enter a casino, we know very well that we are going to have fun, that it is not a place to go and generate only money and that's it, we have to be aware that we harm things and accept what is given to us. come on.

I think the way your friends gamble is not right for them, because I don't like gambling with money from others, because when the money is lost, if your friend doesn't return the money on time, then your friends relationship will end. I have an uncle who took money from me for gambling. He lost the money in gambling. Now he doesn't reply to my phone or message. I don't think it is right to give money to someone for gambling.

One thing I will say, the approach taken by this person is too risky, I don't know what the reason is that he always gambles by relying on money from other people or what we usually call loans, even though basically he is quite used to doing it and returning the money on time but on the other hand isn't gambling always about winning and losing? very clear and that means he will not always be in good luck which means it is very possible that they lose the money they borrowed someday.

As we know that winning in gambling can make a person more hopeful and increase confidence in his gambling, meaning that when he feels comfortable with using borrowed money then it is very likely that next time he will take a loan with a larger amount which of course the risk is also higher and if only luck does not come at the same time then obviously the result will lose and they lose all the borrowed money. So this is a point that must be considered, however it is not recommended to gamble with borrowed money and here you have given one example where your relationship with your uncle is not okay just because of a loan to gamble, it's like you are taking two different risks at the same time.

Creating and getting community support where we stay connected to other gamblers will never be good and we will remain addicted to gambling because their influence will definitely be stronger than staying connected with other people who don't gamble, but this is the challenge in being able to stop gambling addiction. fight loneliness with other better activities so you can forget about gambling and be more active outside of gambling. it helps more with loneliness
Correct, a community that tolerates addiction isn't curing addiction. What should be done in this kind oof stuff is a little tolerance and support from the community which is going to be combined with help and improved rehabilitation system for the community of addicts so they can really recover from addiction or maybe even go there themselves even without the need of the family member persuading them because the system works. Another thing that we shouldn't forget is we have to learn the fact that addicts are humans too and that because they're in that state doesn't mean that they don't deserve the same respect, doing that will eventually remove the stigma surrounding addiction which makes it easy to treat addiction as it also treats loneliness since there's no disrespect and disgust from the community.

there are so many community activities that a person can indulge with other than going deep into gambling. if you feel you are already having trouble with your gambling activities, make sure to remind yourself about reality check that you need to do for yourself

just few examples of activities that you can look forward to :
> sports contest / annual event
> livelihood projects
> regular morning exercise / yoga / meditation
> hiking / camping
> festival / fiesta
> late afternoon/evening session with friends (just coffee and stories, no gadgets)
> play traditional games with your kids or the whole family (remember monopoly, snakes and ladders, chess, etc)

This was not look the good way to their friends, because the friends will share this information to their friends. So if your friend as for the loan, your friends will think he is asking loan for the gambling.Even though he ask loan for the other purpose of emergency, their opinion is like he is asking for the gambling. It’s better for the gamblers to do the gambling with the loan, because loan never good for the gambling. It also one of the reason of the gambling addiction to do gambling repeatedly to recover the old losses.

I honestly don't see the similarity between loneliness and your friend who is borrowing money to gamble. Is he lonely to be doing that or he is broke and needed money and could get the money from a friend? Also, if he is as good as you claimed, he should by now have stopped the attitude as he would have gained enough that could make him stand on his own. Well, my advice for the friend is for him to go and find a good job, gambling is not it, it might be working for him for now but I can assure you that he will be disappointed later. Even though I do not believe that someone can always borrow money to gamble every time and get to pay it back easily from the gain realised. This, I still believe is possible in trading when the trader is so good, but for gambling, I find it difficult to believe, not even in sports betting as there will always be some worse days that the gambler will definitely lose which will scatter their plans.

Many things will come when a lonely person has nothing to do, and if he can't control himself, maybe he will try one by one to find out which one can make him interested in doing it longer. And if he returns to it the next day and doesn't do anything else, he can still do it again another day. That's why if someone is lonely, they should be able to fill their days by looking for activities that can keep them busy and not imagining things that might have been memories of them in the past. And if he has memories of gambling, maybe he will start gambling or he will contact his friends who used to gamble with him. And that was a bad start for him because he could become addicted to gambling.
Lonely people will always do many things and try them one by one to find what activities can give them pleasure or eliminate boredom.
They look for various activities that they have never even done before and of course there are lots things they can try out curiosity.
And when they discover gambling activities, I sure that addiction and feelings of curiosity will continue to be the end of the story, gambling always has an impact on addiction, especially for novice gamblers who cannot have the right mindset and good control.
Just look at the many novice gamblers who enter the circle of gambling addiction, they use various methods to continue gambling even though they are just losse.
From this it can be concluded that anyone who starts gambling for any purpose without control and good mindset then they have enormous potential to become gambling addict.
Indeed, loneliness can lead people to seek comfort or pleasure in other hobbies. The road to gambling addiction is complicated and not for everyone. Think on the details. Begin by acknowledging loneliness's complexity. Social isolation, emotional disengagement, and a lack of meaningful participation might cause it. Many gamblers seek either the thrill of risk or the illusion of connection in online gambling venues.

But crucially, not all gambling causes addiction. Recreational and harmful gambling must be distinguished. When used responsibly, the former can be fun. Self-awareness and control matter. Addiction can be reduced by gambling education and responsible gambling methods.

Finally, support systems. Community support for loneliness and gambling is essential, online and offline. Addressing these issues with open dialogue, assistance, and healthy activities can be successful. We must create communities where people feel valued and connected to reduce the risk of loneliness and despair-related violence.

That is if they realize that they need more activities to kill their loneliness because if not, they will not be able to overcome their loneliness. And yes, gambling can kill their loneliness, but they can also get addicted to gambling sooner or later, so they should not go near gambling if they don't want to get addicted to gambling. They can call their friends to visit them so they have someone to chat with or do something with. It can also kill his loneliness so he won't think about things like gambling, and instead, he can have interesting ideas to try with his friend. And yes, lonely people must have a positive mindset so they don't get dragged into something negative because everything can happen quickly without realizing it. When he enters the gambling circle, he will see that gambling is something fun that can make him want to continue gambling. If he uses a demo account, that's fine, but if he decides to deposit his money to have a different experience, that will be the start of problems for him. So lonely people should be careful in choosing their activities so they don't fall into gambling.

Later he open up to have been using $500 for gambling per day, he said all these started when his wife left him, that he isn't into gambling at all, but I can't ask why his wife left him in the first place, but does loneliness make people become addicted to gambling or it's something else.
