Log-in, searches and attempted searches count. You need to wait 6 minutes after each of these whilst you're a newbie.

Pretty restrict rules for newcomers, IMO.
In all honesty the rules seem to be pretty clear, they are given to you when you register 
If the mods see you are active at once maybe they will.
I am also having problems replying to posts.
I joined since 25 Dec but only just realised we have to write a few paragraphs.
Perhaps a moderator will be able to activate us now or do we need to write a short story lol

One post of several sentences and wait 4 hours. I think you have to be actively browsing for the 4 hours to add up, so just being logged in wont count.
