Its already been a while for some porn sites do accept crypto as a payment but nothing has changed after all
and i  dont really believe much that it would be worth to pay up some crypto to these sites if you can actually
see majority of those for free.

I didn't know paypal allowed webmasters to send USD thru paypal, they weren't allowing it back in the days say 2014-2016 because during those days I once worked for an adult company online. I learned that paypal doesn't allow this originally which is why we pay webmasters thru another method like paxful and wire transfer.

With BTC though, companies of any industry can accept BTC without having any trouble, maybe even accept ETH and XRP as well.

Normal porn is legal in most of the countries (although I am living in a country where it is banned). And we all know that Bitcoin is a decentralized asset. Therefore no one has the right to limit the usage of Bitcoin by any third party. If there is an attempt in that regard, then Bitcoin will no longer be considered as decentralized. And I don't think that too many people will be having an issue with that, apart from a handful of religious nuts.

I think it can somehow give advantages to bitcoin but at the same time there would be disadvantages. We all know almost all the people in the world often porn sites often and some of them are willing to pay just to access more of what a normal viewer could see. As bitcoin becomes a mode of payment, some people will surely see it as a more convenient way which will eventually lead them to invest on it so that they can have more money to satisfy their lust. On the other hand, we want bitcoin to have a clear name and reputation amidst being used in the black market cause we want to leave a good impression to everyone that bitcoin is for legal transactions and a more convenient one.

I haven't seen that subreddit yet but I guess it did affect somehow on BTC since people are getting btc in exchange for what they want.

Well I guess adult websites already get the bitcoin as payment mode as other payment processors does not let their service offered to malicious stuff like porn. Just like what paypal did with pornhub, they withdraw their service with pornhub due to some reason but then it was pornhub's fault who did not follow the contract.

Porn always runs towards technology sooner than other areas. Bitcoin is no exception. We see sexpeople pop up here quite regularly investigating it because they've had problems with conventional banking.

What they'll have to do is cut out payment processors and seek out their own solutions as they're just moving the problem one level down. I seem to remember Bitpay freezing out several industries because ultimately they answer to the banks above all.

I'm curious to know who actually pays for it any more. I guess it's more for the personalised end of things.

I think none, or just it will affect bitcoin for a small positive way. I think now it's currently happening and the effect is very minimal considering that not all people or yes, almost none is paying for porn. It will just slightly boost the name of bitcoin on that site, and some crypto news is going to announce it and after that it will just be a normal day again. The market for people paying for porn is very small, so I think it will not have a huge effect.

Ps. Any money can be used on bad things and using bitcoin in any illegal or etc. will not give bitcoin a negative effect. Good or bad news is always a positive effect 

Well I think many of us here are aware of the subreddit GirlsGoneBitcoin where girls accept BTC. Its been existing for years, I have no idea if it had really helped BTC to become popular. If I am however interested to see them naked, I would probably send USD and check them out myself after all they can do camera show for few bucks. I may only send BTC if the girl really will accept BTC alone.

There are adult site already accepting BTC as far as I know I've seen them in their own forum, they do have directory of porn sites.

Definitely it won't affect the existence of Bitcoin because, almost all the porn websites accepts PayPal and cash and they're still in existence. This will even boost the growing of the community due to its anonymity with its holders. This will bring in positive effect without negative effect, although, haters will still complain about Bitcoin be use in illicit porn websites even though others like PayPal and cash are involved. Hope to see some good move from porn websites in integrating Bitcoin payment into their platforms, this can even drive a good adoption from porn lovers.

Porn sites is no different than any other ecommerce website. If any pornt site accepts bitcoin it doesn't brings down bitcoin reputation.
In fact bitcoin was started being used on Silk road to buy illegal things but then things turned around and these days bitcoin is more of a speculation based currency.
But yeah, using it to buy illegal things did facilitate the growth of bitcoin. So if porn sites starts accepting bitcoin then it will only grow bitcoin's price.

Bitcoin has such a negative publicity that acceptance by porn sites can't make it worse. The main problem is that most people don't see BTC as money, rather they see it as a pyramid scheme. And the smaller part that knows that it's kind of a money, also "knows" that it's money for outlaws. If used in porn industry, legal porn industry, as The Pharmacist rightly pointed out, Bitcoin would finally get reputation of a reliable payment method, used not only by drug dealers and terrorists, but by regular people.

Porn sells a lot, in fact, there are some crypto projects that take advantage of buying traffic on these types of sites to get more followers, pornography is really harmful for many, but in reality it is a market with a great business model, when It is implemented In the sites, the payment with Bitcoin is only an alternative, there must already be sites with payments in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, it is a market open to all possibilities.

Definitely. As you stated that porn sites are the most popular sites that are frequently visited by people. So if there is an integration of Bitcoin and porn sites like payment method, definitely it'll be easier and more people will use it.

It's the same how people use it to other platforms as a payment method, more people will adapt as it gives benefits at the same time.

There are some altcoins who support to pay porn site but I forget the name of the coin. But seems like you are wronh if you say bitcoin transaction is anynomous, there will be some people who will who you are because the transaction will be known on blockchain. I think bitcoin is more popular right now, so we don't need porn site only to see bitcoin can be used by many people. Because there is many platform like amazon who has been accepting bitcoin as payment system.

As we wrote above - even if porn sites will convert to fiat almost instantly, it is not a problem - more problem had been for their customers. As they had on a bank/card statement name of the company they had been sending their money to, it is literally a matter of couple of minutes for a spouse/partner to detect what type of business this company does, what in case of paying with cryptocurrencies and sending money to a wallet is more complicated. For the porn industry, accepting payments in cryptos as well should be more beneficial than credit card payments, as there is literally no threat of chargeback taking place. Not to mention the fact, that the card payment providers regard porn industry/gambling as very risky businesses (because of chargebacks) and the fees for each such  transaction will be very high, much higher than on any crypto exchange.

And if we get even just 100 000 new BTC users who instead of HODLing make regular transactions, volume and number of transactions will grow what can be beneficial for the whole crypto environment. As well, these users on some moment may start thinking "what else I can use this BTC for", and as they already know how to use it can promote it further, for online shopping (like gifts which should be unnoticed), what could bring us to the original idea of Bitcoin being an online currency, not just an investment.

I am sure the porn sites will accept BTCitcoin as it is the best solution for them when the rest of the payment processors have some sort of restrictions accepting these kind of activities and majority of them closes the account without warning and a simple google search says that there are sites that are accepting BTCitcoin for their premium membership.

If a business accepts BTCitcoin because they think it is better than the rest of the payment processors why would you think that it will create a bad impact on the market, it is a positive sign that it can be used to trade a commerce.

That's right, it's neither good or bad the industry that will adopt bitcoin will be still have a positive impact to the cryptocurrency market. If the bad industry accepts bitcoin then probably it will be have a news about the adaptation of it and probably there will be a impact on it in the market just like if the porn sites accepted bitcoin and other cryptocurrency as a mode of payment to their transactions.
Bad or good industry or projects will be it would be still bring popularity to the bitcoin and will be having a positive impact to the market.

I remember the history of Bitcoin from a situation related to Silk Road, a market where drugs, child pornography, even killings were ordered and payments was in Bitcoin. Despite the fact that this site was a nest of criminals and should create a negative image of Bitcoin, it had a very high impact on Bitcoin's popularity. In my opinion, any industry that adopts Bitcoin and will affect its popularity will have a positive impact on the price of Bitcoin.
