Solana has a good potential but I don't see the sense of comparing it to Eth. Lots of good coins have been compaired to ETH but none of them succeeded. If a coin has potential, it doesn't have to compete with other coins because it will show off. It will speak for itself even without comparison.

Exactly. There's just too much hype surrounding Sol for what it's worth to us. I agree it's a good blockchain with technological improvement but the Sol team was too hasty in their development, so they keep crashing and it's almost impossible to fix right now. I'm not sure if Sol will catch up to ETH, but Sol needs to slow down and focus on its security core instead of just focusing on speed and gas fees.

I mean basically what we can see it as what ethereum "was". If we are talking about what ethereum is or what it will be, SOL will never catch up or pass ethereum in any way. But if we are talking about the road?

Well, SOL is passing the same road that ETH did back in the day. What we have right now is about 2016 or so ETH that is live with 2022 SOL if you ask me. That means, in 6 years, ETH will be in MUCH better place, and SOL will be where ETH is today. This could be different timing of course, but basically that's what the situation is like, the same road, but one is much further ahead while the other one is following the same footsteps that the first one took.

solana is good, its market capitalization is growing at tremendous rate even though it has faced many hurdles and its shares of hurdles.
even despite of that, solana isn't nearly as good as eth, the only thing that eth requires is solving its gas fee and it could gets solved easily with the recent events, meanwhile solana requires tremendous effort just to get in the same standing as eth, even though solana is good investments it will never become eth.

I'm not sure Solana can compete with Ethreum, let alone compete, Ethreum has active investors currently in the crypto market, investors themselves, while Solana only relies on outside investors, the brand has no power to beat ethreum.

I don't think so. Solana's network is often disrupted, and this of course makes investors worried and many also lose confidence in solana. Lots of coins were called Ethereum later, but this never happened until now.

But that was the not scenario I was thinking about. BNB will retain its position and also ETH. Developers won't let that way too easy for the Solana project to beat the big 2 projects that have already been well-establish and already gained huge trust from the community. It only appears that Solan will just be next to them and I think, that was enough.

I have Solana, BNB, and ETH but guess what, I put more funds to ETH coz I was really confident of this project more than any altcoins in the market.

SOLana may be designed to become like ETH but not for the purpose of beating it. I'd see no problem having such a huge competition between SOL and ETH but not to the extent of seeing them and fighting who gonna be on top among altcoins. Because whether we like it or not, ETH is the most preferred investment and gathered more investors to join the party of not missing this project.
I'd Solana's potential but that was far enough to get closer to ETH.

This cannot be used as an excuse for Solana to be better than Ethereum because Ethereum itself is still very popular with investors and traders in the market.
It is proven by the volume of Ethereum in trading is still very large and also Ethereum is still on the order of better than Solana at the moment so I never thought that Solana could be better than Ethereum even though there were many investors who made Solana their favorite coin at the time.
