I feel they wished they could totally crack down totally, but it did not work. Instead, jt seems cryptocurrency is gaining more popularity. Crypto is close to becoming accepted by virtually every part of the world.
The banning of crypto currencies is not going to be easy, not talking of killing it. The government of most countries might be against the use of crypto currencies, ICOs and things related to it, but cannot kill it. Banning the use of crypto currencies from day to day activities and purchasing of things from shops or so..., but killing the use of bitcoin is one that can't be achieved.

There is no such thing that government can kill crypto currencies. I admit many countries did not use bitcoin but many countries also adopted bitcoin and regulating it in their own countries. But bitcoin is a decentralize currency in which mean the governments has no access or controlled upon it. So it is impossible that the world government can stop bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
Nice article. But i do not think that government cannot kill crypto world as they have seen potentiality in block chain technology and cryptocurrencies. Unlike not liberal countries like China, other countries have started embracing crypto, forget regulation. Regulation will more strengthen crypto instead.

Never. Crytpo currency cannot be killed by any governments. This currency is a decentralized currency in which means it cannot be controlled by any governments and that being killed will never happen.
As for me, i dont see any reason why world government can kill crypto, they can manipulate it but i dont think that they can kill it...because even those who called ,government are studying about crypto, they are also using it to earn big money.so why would they kill it.?
Actually there is no possibility to prohibit Crypto. It is possible to restrict it, to change the way how to use coins. If people really will need it, they will invent how to avoid any government restrictions.
The reason the government wants to stop the growth and popularity of the cryptocurrency is because of the risk it possesses to disrupt the current market condition and economy. The major effect would be the disruption of the whole economy and banks
They can make regulations making it harder to buy crypto. Banks can ban deposits/withdrawals of anything related to cryptocurrency. In a way they can limit the use of crypto currency but they will never be able to keep people from buying them.
