For hundreds of years the world government wants to seize power on the whole planet and have control over finances, resources. And then suddenly appeared uncontrollable bitcoin and mixed up all the plans. Naturally, all steps will be taken to conquer, or destroy the crypto currency. And what of this we will see

Lot of people here say that governments can't ban cryptocurrencies. This is true, in the same way governments can't really "ban"  cocaine or pedopornography.
But they can make the use of cryptocurrency illegal and very risky.
In this case, its use will be limited to illegal market and deep web.
And you can bet that bitcoin price will fall at minimun value.
what happens if all governments in the world prohibit their circulation and use, certainly cryptocurrency will die.
cocaine is not the same with cryptocurrency. cocaine is still needed in medicine and the government in the world can not ban it.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

Nope, the chances are very slim for the government to totally shutdown cryptocurrencies specially now that some countries have started to adapt to it well plus they would have to monitor and stop every online transactions which would require a huge amount of time, money and efforts on their part.

Government can never ever kill crypto. Why? It's because crypto is unstoppable in terms of people whose behind it. They can manipulate the price and etc, but they can never stop crypto. Crypto is steadily spreading in the world I think in the near future crypto will dominate, there will be no cash to pay and you will just have one cp or laptop in order to pay for your daily needs so stay in crypto and try to increase your number of Bitcoin.

There is no way for a government to ban cryptocurrencies.
It seems that we forget that cryptocurrencies are just points in a strange videogame on the net, where players like to exchange these points with goods or services.
Of course, governments can make big claims just to scare population, and can make illegal to exchange cryptocurrencies with fiat money in the standard market.
But, as I said, if I earned some points in a videogame, and someone wants to buy them, this can't be forbidden.

A single government cannot kill the cryptocurrencies, but if most of the countries will totally ban cryptocurrencies including bitcoin thats the time bitcoin & all other cryptocurrencies would die,but that is not happening because few coutries like venezuela fully supports the cryptocurrencies in fact they have an ongoing ICO which has cryptocurrency that will be backuped by most important commodity which is oil.

The way I see it, governments will not. . .and cannot kill crypto currency. At best, they can regulate it and find its usefulness for the betterment of economy. As the article pointed out, there are some countries that are already looking into the benefits of crypto currency. Crypto currency will continue to evolve getting more and more interest in its wake. For those of us already in this kind of gig, we should also educate ourselves on how to keep crypto currency alive and kicking, not that it will die because I don't think it will.

Taking into account that the Asian countries market as China and Korea are some of the biggest, I think that the government's negative actions on the currency significantly affect their development

Government can impose regulations that will try to manipulate the crypto, but killing it will never will happen because it will results to global crisis and outrage from the coins holder. Also cryptocurrencies has contribution to the economy, killing it will be another loss of income to the government.

They can surely ban banks from interacting with exchanges and also ban account holders to withdraw fiat from banks. This is the reason bitcoin came into existence, to take power from corporates and bring it to the people.

The government can by issuing new rules and regulations. It can impose laws against the cryptocurrencies but cannot stop them. It can put restrictions on money earned by the cryptocurrencies may it an illegal tender!

It is possible its true but it will never happen because you can not find government has same idea about crypto so crypto will survive all time.
They can regulate but they cannot kill crypto, they have to ban internet in order to do that.
Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency is growing so I think it's always to see some hard times as long as we can survive it because it will only
make it stronger.

Imo - of course they can!
BUT! you shold understand that they can kill crypto in different meaning of these words.
They can kill crypto for speculators. But they cant kill crypto as technology. Crypto will be killed only in one case - if the whole world will lost the internet. Till this moment crypto is in our arms. Nobody cant control real crypto, but can use it
Big governments and central banks are waiting, confining their intervention to regulating criptocurrency rather than restricting the use of cryptocurrencies as money.
Cryptocurrencies will begin breaking the monopolies of governments to collect seigniorage income—the acquisition of commodities and assets by printing money.
Still, the digital currency won't disappear. The technology behind it is far too powerful to be controlled by big government.
