My topics originates from the comment of this user above in this thread where the OP is writing to seek about KYC stuff. The link to it will be at the end of the topic.
I know casinos do this. I have experienced it too. It is also in their T&C. My question for casino lovers is that instead of waiting until we win big and are asked to submit KYC documents, will you do it before the casino management or administrator request of it? Is there anyone who has gone ahead to fill out and submit their KYC on their account or by asking their customer support for it way before they even start make a request.

There are basically three types of sites that enforce KYC. The first type would not let the website be used without filling the KYC. The second type recommends you to fill the KYC but won't force it and may have limitation on numbers and amounts of bets for non-KYC users. In these type of sites, it would be better to pre-fill your KYC if you think you'll be crossing the limit or going to have a big win.
The third type of sites have no option to fill the KYC at all and they ask for KYC when you have a suspicious activity or a big win. Justification on such activities would be case based. Gambling industry is a very sensitive market where they need to keep a balance between user satisfaction and regulations. Established casinos won't look for problems unless they absolutely need to while newer scammy sites may give troubles just to confiscate some funds.
And I say this because, the majority of casinos I've come across only use either the first or the last method, which is, they either make the kyc verification form available at registration, and the gambler registering on that casino at that time must complete the kyc form and pass it before he or she is allowed to make any deposit to the casino and start playing, Stake and a host of other casinos fall in this category.
And on the other hand, other casino will simply allow new gamblers join the casino, deposit and start playing without kyc verification, they won't even make the KYC form available on the site, or accessible to the gambler.
The only time the casino will ask the gambler for kyc verification is when he or she wants to withdraw from the casino, and lots of casinos, specially the newer casinos fall under this category.
