There's been little followup from dev about the event. I'm sure many would love to know how many actually came out to purchase with CANNs, HWC's thoughts on the turnout and the day after, etc. A lot of hype built up leading to a launch for what appears to be very little the day of and going forward.
I think the dev team needs a dedicated PR person on the ground in Arizona focusing on ways to get patients in the loop. It doesn't matter if 1 dispensary or 100 dispensaries accept CANN if only a few people are going to use it instead of USD$s. This person should also be the one working on disseminating info and updates to Twitter/forum/media/patients/etc leading up to events and launches. Was weird, from an event promotion standpoint, to not have any updates for about 16 hours prior to the launch at HWC. I'm not knocking dev's ability to handle this stuff on top of working to get more shop/doctors/etc on board, but it would free up attention and focus.
Is there going to be some sort of publicly-accessible accounting as to how many CANNs are being used for purchases? Don't need to know what they are purchasing or for how much in USD$s, but I think we do need to know that they're being used, how many on average per day/week/month, and more importantly, being used more and more as time goes on.
