Cardano (ADA) is scheduled to upgrade its existing network they call it the Alonso Hard Fork. The biggest upgrade of this cardano has
privileges capable of facilitating smart contracts on its network. If the cardano smart contract really happens
do you think cardano will be able to become a rival to bitcoin, ethereum and binance?
Your opinion its appreciated in this discussion.
Basically, Bitcoin is a single coin that we can't possibly compare with the coins that are planning to develop smart contracts. Apart from that, crypto market conditions are highly dependent on Bitcoin conditions. If Bitcoin drops, almost all altcoins drop. Under these conditions, it is clear that Cardano is unlikely to be able to compete with Bitcoin.
Ethereum is one of the coins that have smart contracts with the largest number of altcoins. Most of the projects that have been developed now are sourced from the Ethereum blockchain. Could Cardano still new to smart contracts be Ethereum's competitor? Of course, this is a difficult one.
Binance is relatively new to the concept of smart contracts, even though the Binance chain has previously been developed. But you could say it failed. However, with the arrival of BSC, many new projects are starting to use Binance smart contracts. So the opportunities for binance will be greater. But there is a possibility that Cardano will be a competitor to Binance going forward.
