Even if this comes in soon, that doesn't mean that it will suddenly make ADA better. Look at tron for example, you can start projects on Tron whenever you want but people are not doing that at all, which is a proof that we are not going to suddenly have any sort of increase in ADA just because there is smart contracts added to it.

I understand that we are not going to be disappointed because ADA is already better than Tron without even having smart contracts so adding that should be something good, even if a small part it could still be good. However that doesn't change the fact that it is not something we should be super hyped about, we should be a bit more calm about the future prospects of it.

ADA is obviously doing well in the market, it is top 10 on coinmarketcap, I am not surprise about it developer proposed smart contract I wish it comes to pass at this point in time, thus will pose a bid threat to the dominance of ethereum and binance smart contracts, many projects would utilize their smart contract provided that issues associated with ETH and BNB contract are addressed, e.g high cost of transaction, congestion of network etc, consequently the price of ADA will enjoy a rapid growth because it become investors and hodlers pride.

I think ADA is good because it is the most frequently recommended crypto by big foreign youtubers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuKwCo5BSZA and I also heard from August/September there will be a smart contract launch but since 2015 since ADA was born this has not been realized. If the talk of upgrading the network later goes according to schedule, I think this will be the start of ADA's revival. and to become a rival to BTC, ETH, and BNB, I don't think it's time for that yet, it takes a long process and further development in that direction.

Yes it will but keep Bitcoin away from this because the next few years will be a battle of smart contracts. Although I've read that many project devs have shown interest, I think it will take a bit of time for developers and users to adopt to Cardano's smart contracts. In fact, I'm already reading some articles that are critical to the new protocol.

Cardano will indeed be launching its smart contract in the near future, and many people, especially the project and crypto community, are looking forward to using it. especially if you are expecting a gas fee which is cheaper than Ethereum and faster processing, makes Cardano even more of a competitor to Ethereum. If Ethereum does not break new ground for his platform is not impossible Cardano will be able to replace his position. But not to replace Bitcoin.

and that is solid blow for Cardano smart contracts, just a week before smart contracts planned launch date on main-net, there is no information regarding eventual delay for Alonzo launch, but it will probably be delayed
protocols need to be battle tested and testing is really important, especially in blockchain, where there is no possibility for patch in production, when it is already launched

That is one of the main reason why plenty of crypto enthusiasts and whales are now accumulating ADA because of this future upgrades of cardano which I think be one of the best competitor of other blockchains such as SOLANA, POLYGON, BSC and even Ethereum Blockhain.

However, I don't see cardano as a rival to Bitcoin, Ethereum or Binance, because I think each project has its own uniqueness and different ecosystem,
Binance will focus on the ecosystem it owns, Ethereum will focus on the ecosystem it owns and Cardano will also focus on the ecosystem it owns. I don't want to talk about the price because it depends on market demand and the marketing the team is doing on the project.

That explains the pump few days ago, and that is really good for the ADA ecosystem, I might even say it is long overdue when you take into account older blockchain platforms that are already making giant strides in this space. In all ramifications this is really good for the ADA ecosystem, because I see it as, that a big platform like ADA and with all its features still do not have enough projects on it already, and the absence of these projects will keep reducing the height ADA would have attained both now and in the near future.
Nevertheless, I don't think you can compare a blockchain which is yet to have a lot of projects on it, to other blockchains that have many projects on them, therefore I do not think ADA have what it will take to be a rival to either Binance or Ethereum. Remember as ADA is growing, other blockchains like Binance and Ethereum are still growing as well.

If ADA gets hammered, I'm sure you're still peaceful and calm since crypto fundamentals are solid and well-known, but I've been paying attention to ADA's progress in the previous few weeks because it was discussed in August or September that Cardano published a smart contract. Yea, I don't think there is any intention to beat each other, the team is trying to make something to complement each other, and that's the way it is, no blockchain can stand alone, all blockchains need others to develop and complete. With a variety of blockchain options, this actually makes easier for us to transact as well as invest. We should be grateful to them, not even enmity between them.

In my opinion, the three coins you mentioned (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance) are very popular, so Cardano (ADA) still has little hope of competing. It's possible that XRP will jump in the future, Thanks.

Carano is the talk of the town now because of the launch of smart contract on their blockchain, it's already among the top 5 cryptocurrencies and with their CEO which happens to be one of the ETH devs, I think ada will become a rival to Ethereum not bitcoin, because bitcoin is bigger than them all, eth is lacking behind with high gas fees and eth 2.0 is taking way too long to be out, ada might attempt to flip eth once Smart contract goes live on its blockchain.

ADA is slowly starting to improve itself, this will be a new achievement for the ADA coin. I never thought that ADA would compete with Bitcoin, but if it competes with BSC and Etherum it might happen if ADA is able to pump better. especially if ADA smart contracts really happen this will be the best and the market will compete very well.

a new breakthrough from ADA, which I think with the news of hardforlk by ADA will certainly increase the popularity of this altcoin and will affect its price. I agree that there will be a breakthrough from ethereum and bnb, while for bitcoin, I think it is something that is difficult to achieve, because I think bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies forever

If the ADA smart contract had the same or more capabilities as ETH and Binance, then ADA would be the main challenger to ETH and BSC, but for bitcoin it's different again, bitcoin is the first crypto currency and it's almost impossible to break the blockchain network from Bitcoin.

True, i have been watching some feedback from the community and they were saying that it could be a game changer for ADA to be able to enter into the competition between the high tier smartcontract platform just like binance ethereum and polygon. That's why ADA's price was increasing a lot. Once the alonso update will be done and it may become another parabolic chart for ada and some people will be starting to sell it.
This is a game changer for the longterm but the adoption is still unknown. It may less than dot.

Cardano is a great cryptocurrency and the project itself since its creation has been among the top coins in the coinmarketcap. After the scheduled hardfork, when the smart contract gets introduced, this will certainly make Cardano a more in demand Blockchain and the coin will increase in value. It is important to state that, the unique properties and functions that the smart contract offers will determine how well the project will perform. I will like to see functions like fast transactions at low costs and a wide interoperability with other projects will be a positive development

Cardano's current achievement is very good, I see the market capitalization rating on coinmarketcap, cardano was able to shift BNB and become third even though it eventually dropped back down to fourth place, this made the competition between ADA, BNB and ETH hotter, but in my personal opinion ADA It's not yet time to be a competitor to BTC, and I don't think that BTC will be displaced. However, I am still waiting for the first project that will use Cardano smart contracts, will it be able to be successful and bring many benefits to all of us.
