I think the very potential ETH competitors are NEO and WAVES. both have decentralized exchanges and always provide the latest innovations.
Neo and waves for me is one of the next ethereum. But it doesn't mean that the ethereum will decrease the price because once of this coin become real ethereum the price of the ether are is 10k dollars and that is number 1 coin in cryptocurrenxy and it is a new king.

IMO, Ethererum is still the most potential crypto in the market today compared to altcoins. Cardano (ADA) is regularly in the top 10 cryptocurrencies, but the exchange rate is very volatile, most of which is primarily influenced by the exchange rate Ethereum. i still support ETH, in my opinion this one still undefeated for the next few years. However, ethereum still provide all of the needed most in any cryptoplatform. Even sometimes it have a trouble in its transaction, some people didn't make it big and just keep using ethereum.
few days ago, i try to look forward for NEO and Cardano, it seems have a good potential.
etherum although compared to any coin will still keep better ethereum in any respect. now this etherum can serve as one of the coins that has many benefits different from cardano which is just a coin purely for sale only, so I think ethereum is still the best.

guys, but you need to be serious and objectively approach this issue. I believe that Despite the fact that ETH is the first and direct competitor to Bitcoin, it is still much more promising than its competitor. I believe that the efirium is much more likely to realize the full potential of the crypto currency than in others.The Bitcoin Cash has some OP codes enabled. That can enable the smart contract in the future.

I do not even think Cardano will rival Ethereum. But the zilliqa is coming from behind very firmly. ICOs are developing much better projects to build infrastructure. For example, KOMODO.

Ethereum has the best blockchain technology but neo is him competiton for sure. Other coin with good technology is waves but it is less popular coin and in last time has low interested.

For now ether is the best product on market the market I guess and best coin for HOLD for my opinion. Only ETH have real working product right now and this is really good . NEO would be an excellent product if the Chinese government did not intervene.
Regarding WAVES, I can not say anything, I think their time has passed, but on Cardano I personally have high hopes.

I think Ethereum is superior to Cardano and other altcoins because of the graph I saw for 1 year in the Ethereum blockfolio rose far above Cardano with a + 466.43% and Cardano + 155.03%.
i think if we compare numbers between ETH and Cardano, it may be not fair for Cardano, ETH has been born for a very long time so it has been used more popular than any altcoins on the market but Cardano has just been born recently and still not be able to used in real life completely, however, team developer of ardano has created ADA to defeat ETH, so it is more advance than ETH, it can deal with the problems that ETH is strugling to fix: increasing the numbers of transactions in a second when there are too many transactions, rightnow, ETH may defeat ADA easily but let's wait, ADA may beat ETH in the future.
Ethereum is the best smart contract available and is only neo and waves that has the capacity to compete with it not cardano. Ether is the fuel for almost ICO and I am yet to think of another coin that has that capacity.

Ethereum is just older than any of those, it has more popularity than cordano or trx, but with time people will educate themselves about other projects and maybe switch to them. As for me eos ada, neo, trx, waves and other have more space to grow than ETH has. Still ETH is very solid coin and will for sure have a good year.

They are all trying to make a copycat of the existing ethereum smartcontract and totally worthless. Zil is the best choice compared to the others. But it's being so far to compete with ether. You should never mention EOS because it's just an experimental project. Zil has sharding but remember ether will put more than it.
I am not a big supporter of Cardano because I prefer Ethereum for long term. I am not sure what will happen with cardano, but it could also moon. I will hold my Ethereum and wait for the big profits. Maybe I will split these profits into some other coins then.
