Thank you very much naypalm for this great tool!

I took a screenshot at 31st July 2017 the Analyzer shows exact the same amount of active and open coins and bars.
Did really nobody open not a single casascius in 6 weeks?

Blockr.io is shutting down after today. Sadly all of my analyzers use their services. Until I find time to figure out a new source, I am suspending all analyzer scans. The sites will remain online but will not update the stats like before. Once a fix is in place, I will let everyone know in this thread.

I added a small feature that some of you might like (or hate Cool). BTC Sold Value is now included on each casascius bitcoin page. This is determined by a coins opened date.

example https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1CSPuHsVM61KD8vg7FgG8YZsguJvznHVMP
Sold Value:   $156
Today Value: $2,430

Love it!  Grin   Reminds me why I keep on holding to my loaded coins and not sell or redeem them!

Hi!  Great website that I have used for years. I tried to add my newest coin 129Jh5bP and give it ownership title with the others that I have but every time I place BTC price from the bottom of the page it says incorrect bitcoin price. Can you please assist? Thankyou

Might as well include a 'regret meter' as well.   Cheesy

This is another good example to other physical cryptocoin creators to why having a public list of addresses is useful. Especially if they only put part of the address on their coin.

One of many.  I would personally question the generation and security practices of cryptocoin creators that are unable to produce a list of the addresses they've put on coins.  Everyone else should as well.

Naypalm,

I have 1 BTC on a physical Casascius entacted. I look on your site and it shows active but when I go to blockchain.info it's invalid. Is it still a valid BTC?

Is your coin a newly minted coin? Please send me your coins address and I investigate further.

bought it in 2013. 133xyZkA

according to https://casascius.com/fulllist.txt from Mike, this coin has address 133xyZkAP69db3kMXqNTGQ4q2Km36mGbFS, which is still funded with 1 BTC

maybe noteworthy: https://casascius.wordpress.com/2013/07/18/firstbits-are-not-whats-printed-on-the-coin/

https://btc.blockr.io/address/info/133xyZkAP69db3kMXqNTGQ4q2Km36mGbFS

Thanks Molecular, I figured that was what was going on. Firstbits seemed to work well back then, but as more addresses were generated, then firtbits became unreliable.

In case anyone is interested: The first minted casascius coins of 2015 occurred over the weekend.

http://casascius.uberbills.com/?page=charts&year=2015

Uh, unless I'm mistaken, all we're looking at is some unfunded bearer bars receiving funds from their owners?

If Casascius did make buyer-funded bearer bars, he certainly did not include the address or mention it in his public list of addresses. When I bought my 0-BTC Bearer bars, all I got was shiny gold stickers (no public/private address) to use as a "hologram".

All 3 addresses start with '1G' and were funded with 5 BTC each at exactly 2015-03-07 05:58:48. I am assuming he sold to someone either locally or to someone who made the trip.

Okay, but did you see the address they were funded from?

https://blockchain.info/address/1otohotohMoQoxHuxLBveQiZcV3Pji3Tc

Here's another transaction using the 1otohotoh address as an input:

https://blockchain.info/tx/98cc49d472e38abca3a2fa6c19140d0abb63531c9bd4f7fa78576db002ef2bff

Do you really think that's Casascius funding those addresses?  Huh
