Have you seen Mr. Robot? You reminded me of it.
Well coming to real world, it is not possible at least for next 20 years. No matter how easy cryptocurrencies made the finance but still its scope limited to internet. We need liquid flow of internet to transfer BTC and other coins from one person to other. But if we see current situation, internet is not the bite of every individual. Lots of technical jargon stops the way of utopian society of CRYPTOCURRENCIES.
inlike that explanation mate thats good enough to justify why cashless society wasn't applicable for now.added unto that is the POWER OR ELECTRICITY aside from internet transaction won't be generated without those but the physical money can make every transaction as long as the money is indeed.

I believe someday we will carry all of our money on our phone. It is so annoying these days having to carry around fiat money and exchange it when we travel. Instead, every country has their own cryptocurrency and when you are planing to travel we would exchange them before and this way we save so much time and there isn't a middle man we trade between other people.
maybe yes it will look like that in the future carrying all our money in our phone as our wallet and if we going to pay just scan to the phone from a scanner then it will detect some kind of code and its done and easy no hassle.

Yeah I'm also sure of that because time will change the world becomes more sophisticated and now it is already seen many people prefer to shopping online and prefer to pay with credit card or debit card. the world will use digital currency in the next few years I'm sure of it
Surely the world will get an increased usage of digital currencies in the future, same time I don't think cashless society will be getting more importance, because making a cashless society has got lots of complications. First thing is the users, here each and every one must be knowledgeable. This cannot be attained in a short or long, which itself confirms that cashless society implementation won't be that effective.

Investing in the future development of blockchain
November 24, 2017, 07:38:25 PM
Abiky i believe a paper currency less society is possible but not in the recent future. First of all this will require universal free internet access which will not be possible until probably thirty years time that is even if the developed world is ready to make sacrifice to help the less endowed get to that le

Well, I agree with that, it will be a huge expenses for us if we are going to acquire cashless society and if we do that we are being unfair for those who didnt want to be inlinrd with this system and I think there still people who cant operate bitcoin and thats our indigenous people.

The biggest disadvantage to bitcoin is the sluggish transactions now

This is because there are a lot of transactions that are now happening all of the sudden and this only means bitcoin is now popular. Too many people now that started to use bitcoin and now having their transactions, another thing some major miners back off and started to support other coins instead of bitcoin. Bitcoin in a society like this needed to be upgraded and it will be fine very soon, devs are looking for resolution for this problem.

Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink
It can be happen maybe about 20 years? But lets face the fact that there are still many poor people out there that can't afford to buy three meals a day. And if there is people who will give them bitcoin as a loan I don't think that it will be enough to make one country to be a cashless society, and also it will take more time and more money to do it.

people without money it can be said easy bother why is that so? yes, basically the world transaction that has been validated and recognized is by cash payment or other words with money. if the non-cash transaction is an indirect transaction, but when the transaction is done through a certain media that support to transact, so that not necessarily face to face face to face with one another.

Well I think this is impossible, come to think of it our country was prone in different natural Disasters  and cashless society will always rely on electricity, how if a earthquake or typhoon hit a certain country and power source of electricity was lost how they can buy foods if the access on their money was not able? Secondly the scamming many of us always overcome the weakness of someone let us face the reality that we are all not literate in using technology especially the indigenous people It might sure that many people will overcome their weaknesses because of poverty and greediness. To sum it all cashless society was very impossible at all.
This is a fact that banks are all the time taking your money in the form of some policies which are often useless. Governments are also always keeping an eye on your wealth and they are that’s why afraid of bitcoin because it is decentralized and no one can control it. This is the only reason why many people are in favor of bitcoin and other digital currencies. I am in favor of society where we can enjoy both currencies.

I've thought about it and I believe that forever using paper money it will be very hot because the raw paper is wood, and the wood in the forest will be exhausted, so when we reduce paper money and use digital currencies such as bitcoin and virtual others.

It would be nice if all areas covered with electric and internet. I mean in rural area still this concept would be hard to implemented . Even in urban area, many generations before us really difficult not to use cash. But I do believe next generations will be open minded with this cashless society, even debit or credit card have this cashless system.  Well yeah butcoin will not co-exist
also cooperate with fiat and digital local currency. CMIIW Smiley

Japan and Korea are all areas covered with electric and internet. I think this both countries will be the first country that become cashless society in the future. Technology always upgraded and money will become digital too, it takes time to implement that but i'm sure it will in the future.
What do you mean? Japan or Korea are also like other countries, I do not know any the developing countries or rich countries do not have electric and internet for all arena. Example my country, although my country is poor, but the government still sufficient water and electric supply is available nationwide and at present, about 80% of the regions have internet coverage, except for mountainous or deep forests or ethnic minorities.

It is not impossible to have a cashless society know a in modern days all have transformed , having a cashless society is awesome and I am excited on that
Many preconditions for cashless society have already been fulfilled but still it's not easy to transfer our finances just like that. Cashless society would make many things much easier but I think it's in human nature to love the cash and feel it in your hands so many of us wouldn't like to give up the cash.
