If you never wanted to complete a KYC, why not go for the decentralised casinos? That's the way I view it. As much as I agree with you, I also will not blame casinos entirely for this type of move, reasons being that, most casinos gamblers hate kyc, and as soon as they sign up on a casino, and the casino ask them to pass kyc verification before they can be able to deposit and play on the platform, that gambler will immediately abandon that casino and go for another one where they can deposit, play without having to go through/pass kyc verification.

Some casinos always state on their T&P that "they may and they have the right to ask for KYC anytime they like." Which means they can ask a customer to do KYC before withdrawal; it was in their terms and policy, and a customer cannot change it. 

If house edge is low, I mean too low to favour players, they will win and if it's too high, then players will make much loses isn't. A reasonable house edge is what can make player loss to be in the bearest minimum otherwise there is going to be losses from players.

But here is a thing though, I have come to learn to respect casinos that will ask a customer to pass kyc verification immediately after the customer finish signing up, that is, they make it mandatory to pass the kyc verification before you are allowed to even deposit on the casino.
