someone should test the adrenalin driver 18.3.4 out today on vega - it specifically mentions fixing some blockchain workloads performance that was lower than it should be. my rig is very unstable and it could take me hours so i'm not volunteering Sad

"Fixed Issues: Some blockchain workloads may experience lower performance than expected when compared to previous Radeon Software releases."

I've tested and... it's working! 2050h/s vega64 liquid

Dear glph3k,

Will you update XMR_Cast to compatible new custom cryptonight algo PoV of IPBC coin. It is not Monero V7 also.

I don't exactly plan to test new drivers until before the official blockchain release appeared. Stable work without failures is more important than few hashes.

Cast just crashes immediately, after a fresh win 10 install with blockchain drivers.

After doing a DDU, reinstal blockchain, PTables and OT setup, now it just exits.

Previously after a painful fine tuning had it running for weeks until windows broke. The only annoying thing was a high fan rpm compared to stak-miner with similar OC and GPU temps - 50-60º C Cast always stayed upwards of 3000-3500 rpm, Stak would lower rpm to 2000-2800.

Not sure what "--opencl -2" is.  Maybe try 0,1,2.  You shouldnt need forcecompute with blockchain drivers + vegas. Lastly you might need to add --algo=0 for nicehash.

the -2 was a typo, I tried all of them and it didn't make any difference, with the --algo=0 either. It's as if the miner is just missing something and terminates

Theranos Coin - IoT + micro-blood arrays = Moon!
cant connect to webpage remote access  http://127.0.0.1:7777 --remoteaccess is enabled

What to do? Txs.

Try using "-R" instead of "--remoteaccess"

--algo=0

Suddenly I can't mine Graft with my Vegas using Cast 0.9.0, it says rejected share - low difficulty.  Tried two different pools.  Is something broken?

Use the option --algo=0 to force classic CryptoNight.

Graft reports that it is Version 7, the flag which Monero uses for the upcomming switch to their new CryptoNight variant.

Is it option --algo=0 or --algo 0?

I’ve been using without the --algo 0 as I thought that’s what the instructions said and it seems to be working but I’m guessing that’s not right?

Awesome!  Thanks!

Could somebody explain to me how the fast job switch option works?

I'm pretty sure you don't need it if your using a Vega.

You do need if you don't want to submit stale work.

Fair enough, I've just put the command back on for my Vega's.  Wink

Roll on the 6th April with the hard fork to kill off the ASICs!  Grin

the latest AAMD drivers are working fine for now, which is really surprising

Somebody have it tested yet?
yes,1300 h\s 18.3.3

Only 1300 h\s?

That's crap! lol

Should be over 2 KHash/s
