Good work sp  on #43  quark ~ +50kh/s to +75kh/s and ~ 5 watts less on electricity.  X11,X13,X15  increase on hash too.  Smiley

Because of the kind darkcoin donators a fistful of darkcoins has now turned into a fistfull of fiat. Smiley

So DARK coin is now officially DASH.   Cheesy

With 1.5.43(sp-MOD), I'm getting 50-80 watts lower than 1.5.42(sp-MOD) with some better performance on Whirlpoolx, even without being optimized for Compute 5.2. I did not recompile.

The current launch config is incorrect. you should get around 300MHASH if you change it a bit on the gtx 980 with overclock.

Still far behind wolf0's 290x whirlpoolx kernal. (450MHASH)

My 290X kernel does 660MH/s, not 450MH/s.

3RD PARTY BUILD-
OK, the v43 build you released did not work on my GTX 960.  You posted regarding the difficulty downloading CUDA requisites.  The 3rd party build of v43 does 30kh/s better than your release of v42. Your build of v43 gets 200kh/s better, but with no accepted shares, and "does not validate on CPU" errors.

I have submitted a bugfix that might fix the issue. Remove compute 5.2 from the project file and rebuild. Should give correct results now.
Don't know if it will run faster though...

I downloaded the crypto-blog version.  I assume that it was compiled by a friendly third-party.  It is currently mining X11 at 5545kh/s on my Win 7 x64 GTX 960.  This result is compared to 5515kh/s on your last release of v42.  I suppose my earlier (and unsuccessful) results gave a larger, but false, increase in hash rate for v43.
Thanks for your continued programming efforts.        --scryptr

The gtx 980 is doing 200khash bether mining x11 from release 42 to 43. What are you getting on the 960? Did it work with the other build?

My German is more limited than your English.  I tried to use simple statements.  It is entirely possible that the 3rd party build is slower than what your build could truly do.  In fact, I hope that is the case.  Smiley        --scryptr

Try the version compiled by the cryptomining blog. Faster? how many watts?

I didn't tweak the parameters on compute 5.2 cards yet.

in the file:

cuda_whirlpoolx.cu

you can try to alter these values:

#define TPB 512
#define NONCES_PER_THREAD 8

tpb must be a number above 256 and dividable by 32

you can also search for __launchbounds in the file and change the ,3 to something else.

Latest version on X11,x13,x15 i'm getting a CPU does not validate, all other algos are ok.
previous version was working fine

Download the binary from here:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/4546-updated-windows-binary-of-the-ccminer-1-5-43-git-fork-by-sp-for-maxwell/

My version is buildt with an older version of cuda 6.5 wich doesn't support compute 5.2

Note that the exe is build without compute 5.2. If you have a 960/970/980 card you should eighter build yourself or wait for another build.

The cuda version I am using doesn't support compute 5.2 and it takes forever to download on my mobile link in Thailand.

GTX 960 and X11--

My GTX 960 on Win 7 x64 runs 225+ kh/s faster with X11 (5740kh/s v 5515kh/s), but gets nothing but "does not validate on CPU" errors with no accepts.  I reverted to v42 after a very short trial.       --scryptr

750ti WHIRLPOOLX-
I am getting 463Mh/s vs 458Mh/s on my 6x750ti FTW rig.  Hash rate is very consistent.  The 458Mh/s rate was for tpruvot's  current Linux 1.6-git build.
BTW, tpruvot's current cpu-multi v1.1-git build bangs lyra2 on Intel.  I get a very consistent 332kh/s on an older i7.
--scryptr

Is this on your 64bit linux rig or your win7 x86 rig? My modded kernal is optimized for 32 bit.

LINUX x64--

My 750ti FTW (dual fan, w/6-pin connector) rig is run on Ubuntu 14.04 x64.  I converted my 750ti SC rig (single fan, no 6-pin connector) to Win 8 x64 and it is now much more stable than when it ran on Linux.  It is currently mining Lyra2.  Both rigs have 6 cards.

I compiled and executed your latest release on my FTW rig and achieved a further 1.5Mh/s increase in hash rate.  The rig's total whirlpoolx hash rate is now 464.5Mh/s.        --scryptr

i mined drk when it was still in its infancy and sold ALL of them when they hit $11 ...

what did i convert them to? ... btc of course ...

why setup another 'standard' when you already have THE standard Wink ...

besides - donors will only back something they THINK they can make money from ... so if thats what 'they' are doing - then it just might be something to continue looking at ...

but for now - not for me ...

#crysx

I was never sold on DRK so I never held onto it. I sold over 1k for around 0.0003 last year february.

thats one of the reasons i sold all of my 'stock' of drk ...

great concept - but when the whole drudgery of anon this and anon that started - thats when i knew this whole thing was going to be dragged on senselessly ...

the whole concept of anonymity goes against ALL of the trade markets - ALL of them ... if you cant see where a trade goes - or cant get a refund for a product or service - or cant change your mind and receive your monies back - then what the hell are we doing transferring coins in the first place ...

i know that sounds liek im a government supporter and supporter of all thats illuminati and all that crap - but seriously ... if a CURRENCY is going to be usable in any way shape and form - it NEEDS to be tracked for OUR OWN benefit ... not those bureaucratic controlling nazi's ...

hence the 'dumping' or 'selling' or 'trading of all the drk i had at the time - and i had a LOT ...

anyway - about to test the compilability of sp's newest Smiley ...

That is why I like Monero. You have the option to make a transaction transparent, if that is what you need. Also, have the comfort of knowing that you can be 100% private too. Plus the ability to use http://xmr.to to send bitcoin 100% anonymously is a bonus.
