stupid business model. I am sure that you lost more in comparison to the dev fee.

As _sp stated before, having only the fee on his miner will make them spreaded out far too much, making it vulnerable to the smart coders out there that could dissassemble his work and reproduce it for free. He's mostly protecting his work by making it a steep price to compensate him if it's leaked or broken by a coder.

But as many stated before, i agree that _sp price should be in $ and not in BTC, because a mod that would earn you money when the BTC was @ 2k didn't required much rigs, now with a mod that cost the same amount of BTC when it's nearly @ 12k, you need a farm to make it viable (if it ever balance out). Also if you made it a fixed price, and then with a devfee inside it, it would balance out for people that have a very low amount of rigs and people with the farm, because the entry price would be the same for everyone, but the small guy and the big guy would pay the same per rig with the dev fee. So to summarize, i think _sp mods should be in the range of ~100/150$, but with a 1/1.5/2% dev fee added depending on how he feels like it.

At least that's my view on this. After all if you aren't happy with the product, don't buy it, _sp is free to sell his work as much as he think it's valuable. We can only suggest different options that sound "fairer" to us but we cannot force him nor criticise him for it. It's his choice. Are you naive enough to believe not everyone is in it for the money ? if _sp sell his work and take time to make it, it's because it earns him money.

sp_  Your doing this to line your pocket, we know that, but 0.05btc is way too high, that's over $550 usd at todays exchange rate.

2 or 3% dev fee every 2 hours built into the miner would net you more if you released it to the public for free, more people would use it, come on, do the maths !

Difficulty is highest during a pump and in a few days the price will drop back down.

sp, if you put a 2% dev fee, I would gladly support like any other mining software I used. Since 0.05 btc is out of my reach as home miner then it's a different story.

Anyway, I wish the best of luck to those who bought spmod, may long it may last their profit and revenue from it.

According to whattomine LUX,

ccminer 1 gtx 1080ti 31MH is $9.40 / day.
ccminer spmod 1 gtx 1080ti 40MH is 12.00/day.

Unless you're a big farm, I'd say no point for shelling out 0.05BTC...
But a clandestine leaked spmod would be mighty fine for home miners.

Diff is growing every minute.... at this time, they're more profitable coins using public miners.

ah no, sp is so slow, This lux crazy has been going on for four days. and he just mention it today. The difficulty still stable, around 7000 is the highest. Go mine it no need to be afraid.

Not sure. I get 27MHASH on the 1070ti with oc.
the 1080ti has 47.3% mode shaders than the 1070ti, so should do around 39.8MHASH with max oc.

How much hasrate for LUX on 1080ti with your mod??
